You kidding him right ? No matter how much I like the unit, I will still walk away at $278x psf.

And, I will walk over to Seaside Residences to buy the unit that I missed out back in 2017. Now selling $23xx psf and still brand new.
hmm but there are still buyers at 278x 28xx. they must be seeing something that we don't

At this rate the condos are benchmarking upwards due to demand resulting in sales, pretty sure some aggressive cm will come soon.

Close to 2.4k psf for 3 bedder. My friends got morning slot. The smallest 2 bedder stack 6 started from 25xx psf for bottom floor according to them. They walked away too
25xx psf for bottom floor means likely higher floor 26xx - 27xx psf ?! And still can be close to 80% sold ? Something doesn’t feel right …

The only cooling measure the government should do is to announce everyone that there will be no more cooling measures and ask everyone to calm the fxkk down. That there is no need to rush and many new projects are coming up if new launch is your thing. Even in D15 you ahve Jalan tembusu and thiam siew ave coming up soon

They are not rushing. They are just buying what they want as they feel they can afford.

that in simple terms is demand.

More expensive more people buy

4-5 years ago seaside sell at 1.6k psf also cannot sell 50% on first week

Fast forward today 2.7k psf everyone snatching, not sure what it represents 😁
Actually there are quite a number of similar cases. The Panorama was struggling to sell at $1.2/$1.3k psf in 2014. Fast forward to next month, AMK AMO is expected to sell out at average price of $2.1k or higher.

Then become 3k psf and chp become 3.5k psf?
Then landed become a steal? Cannot be right, landed up another 500k-750k in ocr? :s22:

Rising interest rate? Sgd is devaluing.
Sgd is sgd. They receive payment in sgd and pay wages and most materials in sgd so at least some hedge there.

Also, increase in gst also coming and when supply chain issues are resolved with labor/materials, should increase the speed of construction

Nah if you have seen the showflat, it’s one of the nicest layout you ever seen. Where can you find 1BR with enclosable kitchen n a window…. Don think u can find it in a condo for the past 10yrs or at least even resale I have not seen something like that.. and it doesn’t look cramp. BUT with this kind of price ppl r snapping up like crazy… cant get any 1/2BR by 1-2pm unless u willing to pay $2m odd for a 2BR 99yrs lease at Mountbatten?

wonder wat govt can come out next for CM.. cut loan to 70% Mayb

That would nail The Coffin even for existing owners wishing to sell! Anything above 1m should be affected. But looks like the only way out - need some drastic measures.
