Anyone tried this service in Australia? Going to Perth next month but not sure if Vodafone is a good network there.
Btw please take note of your own billing cycle, if need to, just request for a change in billing cycle over the phone before activating the service.

No. Just changed mine.Change billing cycle will tio any one-time charges or not?![]()
Can activate on Sat or Sun?activated the service via 1627.
10mins later received an sms confirming that service is already activated
Encountered no issues with my usage n connection thru out my trip in osaka, kyoto n kobe.
Wanted to do a speedtest screenshot for you guys but i forgot![]()
Can activate on Sat or Sun?
Oh! Disappointed to hear that. Have thot of using it in my coming trip to HK.Hi all,
Just to share my experience over the past few days with M1 datapassport here in USA.
I had activated M1 datapassport (USA) together with network lock before coming to Dallas, Texas.
Ever since landed in Los Angeles airport and after transiting to Dallas, I have switched on my phone and got connected to T-Mobile with 4G successfully.
HOWEVER, I HAVE NOTICED THE BROWSING/FB/EMAIL TAKES LIKE FOREVER. So I decided to monitor for next couple of days to see if it was temporary but 3 days later I still found the performance the same.
I tethered to my iPhone from my macbook and did a traceroute to www.google.com and showed as follows:
traceroute to www.google.com (216.58.200.100), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets
1 172.20.10.1 (172.20.10.1) 25.728 ms 11.471 ms 2.540 ms

SpeedTest.net results showed 498ms (Latency), 0.94Mbps (Down), 0.56Mbps (Up)
My public IP address showed 119.56.115.121 which according to https://www.iplocation.net/ the address is registered under MobileOne Singapore.
So all my traffic were FIRST go to Singapore then RETURN back to USA..
Conclusion: I am guessing M1 have setup a tunnel gateway in USA by partnering with T-Mobile to allow M1 customers with datapassport subscription to point to that gateway when registered under T-Mobile network instead of using T-Mobile LTE network locally hence all my traffic were going to Singapore first then come back to USA which explained why the latency was so bloody high and the up/downlink speed is no where near average 4G LTE speed.
Just to share with everybody that I am very very very disappointed with M1 Datapassport......
I used it for Taiwan, connection is good, no complaints.I used data passport in japan and Thailand and I find it is quite good.
A few of negative remarks on Taiwan and USA
So far no one gives review on the Europe
I did last mth.Anyone still managed to change their bill cycle? I called M1 and they said that they dont do it anymore...
