I'm on M1 100mbps / 39.00 per month signed in 2012. With black Huawei HG8240 ONT and my self-purchased router.

There's this bundle for 200mbps at same price.

For recontract involving upgrade of speed,
(a) are there any Opennet fees?
(b) what model is the "free router"?

(b) ASUS N56U is free during IT Show and if AC56U must top up some $.

thanks. Have noted from M1 website they sell the old N56U with every new signup. Not clear whether that's the same router they're giving free. Info on their website is not clear.

Have not seen any updated page where it states AC56U.

Will post back if I have time to drop by their shops

Have not visited M1 shops to ask, but here's a shot of a 5ghz N laptop adapter (Thinkpad 2x2 abgn / Broadcom) connected to AC66U.

M1 just overcharge me $22 this month.. Normally i dont check bills.. This time i check if not i also dunno i was overcharged. My Monthly subscription for current 100mbps is $39 (pending 200mbps upgrade) called 1627 and was put on hold for more than 20mins and finally they agree to waive the $22 as I mention I called perviously and was told to pay the new subscription rate of $39. Weird that pervious 2 month they charge $39 but this month they charge $61.

3rd month and still waiting for opennet port 2 acativation..

Oh the Huawei that stands vertically. He must have signed up 1 or 2 months before me. I got the black one.

For giggles...here's the same Thinkpad abgn / Broadcom connected to a wirelessG access point.

Even during windows network file transfers, it barely reaches 1 MB/s. Used to do 2.5MB/s many years back.

Did u changed anything lately, cable management? Last check if ur fibre cable was bend? If not probably need to dial 1626 for help.

by "reset your ONT" i hope you did not mean by poking that reset hole on the ONT because if that is what you mean then...

Yeah...reset means "Power On Off".
