did a speedtest check and mine is like 547.80 mbps but hers is 112mbps?

whats the underlying issue here?

is a phone display thing.

5G+ on xiaomi usually means connected to 5G SA. not to be confused with the + in 4G which means carrier aggregation. and if only 5G means connected to 5G NSA.

iphone always show 5G even if 5G SA or 5G NSA. same for 4G where the + for carrier aggregation is never shown

IMHO.
Now that app does not have port-in, do port-in at retain also can bypass the recurring auto top up right ?
Anyone done it recently ?

I porting out of Heya 4G. :ROFLMAO:
P.S. The Singtel Hi! app for managing my Heya4G sucks.

I should be moving to Singtel 5G+ Priority Plus to see the slicing. :ROFLMAO:
Now my Heya 4G is a hassle - I usually top up every month $10. Now the plan become $12 and I have to wait for the $2 promo code. And I don't think the promo codes will last forever.

You can try... let us know ;) So far, from what I read, I see not much difference between the "slicing" and MVNO current 5G NSA.

Maybe in a congested area like concerts hall , you get a better network ...

I thought you were the few users here who like heya and probably okay with SingTel hi!. :ROFLMAO:

I do not see much points to go with SingTel hi! S$12/S$10 4G monthly plans myself. Only SingTel hi! S$5 Senior monthly plan (4G) is worth considering.

As for M1 Maxx, you should go to dealer shops to port in to avoid the trouble. Online sign-up or Port-in will become recurring plan and may be troublesome to convert to M1 Maxx base plan.

Personally I would not go back to SingTel 4G network myself for my main line, I will stick to the SingTel SIM Only S$15.28 per month recontract offer (5G plan).

And even for 4G plans using SingTel network, I would not choose SingTel hi! S$12/S$10 monthly plan either, as there are more cost effective plans from SingTel MVNOs, Zym/Zero1/VIVIFI/CMLink. This is especially true for CMLink now since CMLink S$10.1 4G plan still has 50% OFF offer and six months free 5G Trial until 18 Dec 2025.

But if heya or now SingTel hi! works for you, why not?

The S$5 per month hi! Senior plan is a different story as I think it is decent deal but I am not qualified.

I do not like the stupiak SingTel hi! App. :ROFLMAO:
Anyway, I got 4 lines, deciding what to do with it. Likely terminate 3 of them.

Thanks for the heads up on the doing it at the dealer shop.

IMHO, M1 Maxx base plan is too good to make any business sense for M1...

I tend to believe this M1 Maxx Base plan will be changed or even gone after the merger with SIMBA.

Potential change: plan will be suspended or cancelled after 60 days of no top-up.

Take note SIMBA grace period is only 30 days.

SingTel heya and the new SingTel hi! 4G monthly plan have grace period of 60 days.

Just my personal opinion. I understand quite some M1 Maxx users here only use the base plan...

Heya 4G grace period is 30 days from the expiry of the plan or 60 days from the start of the plan. IIRC.

Just wondering how you differentiate 5G SA and NSA on an iPhone.

There was a trick to use dialing code 3001#12345 but it is not really working as per A7997A.
