I just checked my contract from the email sent. Port-in date is 6 Dec. But I wonder why need so many working days.
Cover themselves in case of unexpected delays. The boss give you 3 working days deadline, will you tell your boss 1 day can already ? 😝 In my experience, usually 1~2 days max. I will also never activate port in just before weekends.

I recently port in to Vivifi from RedOne:

A summary of my port in experience from RedOne > ViViFi
26th Nov : service application, ordered physical sim and paid for door to door delivery
27th Nov : received & activate temp SIM, submitted port in request
28th Nov : port in successful

Would love to see your results for this as I travel along these places too.
Eventually I have chance to do the acid test, turn on hotspot for my car to connect to download firmware package (~5GB) while driving from woodlands to Jurong East,
SLE -> BKE->KJE->PIE -> Jurong East.
*BKE/KJE & KJE/ PIE. Both junctions are notorious low coverage area.

During the commute, Google YouTube music streaming ( not downloaded play since my car YouTube music don't come with this buffering technique yet) was active.

No music pause interruption, Car firmware complete package downloaded

So far no disappointment.
Value for money $15 CIS plan. 300GB .

I am on CIS plan as well for my primary connection.. So far quite stable and speed is good compared to a year ago where I had frequent disconnections on 5G.

If M1 add some free roaming data allowance, this would be a almost perfect plan. For now, I just use another SIM from Eight for roaming.

Does M1 has minimum period? Just signed up $15/month 150GB plan, intending to stay/use for less than a month. Any penalty, like SIMBA will charge $30 or so if port out for less than 30 days.

I signed up for the $15 (200gb) 5g plan
I notice the 5Go service only for free for 7 months? Does this means after 7 months it will change to 4G?

Should be in the PDF TNC that they sent you

mine read:
5Go Access
• 5G Connectivity is available with compatible 5G SA phones, a 5G SIM Card, a 5G enabled plan and within 5G
coverage.
• FREE for first 6 months, thereafter a discounted price of $2.08/mth until further notice (U.P. $5.09).
• There is no proration for the subscription and discount.

You can also request to downgrade to 4G

Oh, is it?
I shall try and monitor when the time comes, since this was what I was advised when signing up when I questioned why Caller ID only 6 months.

Normal. My port in to M1 from SH took one whole week. Call SH, SH say they never receive anything from M1. Call M1 they ask me check SH.
Do you port-in online ?
family members just physically signed up at Causeway Point M1 to port-in and, simultaneously, change the mobile number ownership from Starhub to M1 latest promotion, 5G 1024gb 1100 mins @$17.95 forever plan on 27 Dec 2024 around 8pm.
It is a Friday night.
Starhub sim lost signal and need to use M1 sim card on 29 Dec Sunday early morning.
The port-in process was completed within one day.
