any suggestion if M1 refuse to accept the phone for service? as i bought from another person without the receipt:(:(:(

Did you get the previous owner to sign a document recognising u as the new owner? If no, the only way is to ask the him to personally come down to M1..

But try ur luck first bah, be positive and speak positive to the M1 ppl - who know they might accept ur set anyway.

yup i did what u r planning to do now..said bye bye to SH and never looked back...use ip4 tether to notebk setup and/ipad etc

always avg 11gb (limit 12gb/mth) due (1) to viewing local tv channels, korean jap drama streams on my ipad/ hackintosh (prefer ip4 wifi tether=minimal buffering) & (2) usual surfing etc ( ip4 bt tether will do)

I seldom get disconnected even when my shoots are in those ulu ulu places...haha

Note that the ip4 tethering to yr notebk comes across as an adhoc not infrastructure AP..some w7 notebks fussy abt this, but mac no problem..

bo pian...be practical & save $$$ lor

do you have the original mobile no. that the iphone 4 was registered with??

apparently the counter asked me for the original mobile no, in both occasion (paragon). could be for verification, but i really don't know.

i would usually ask for the original invoice. some people would tell you, no need. based on my experience, they 95% ask for original invoice unless you are very lucky (5%) or you can make them think positively about your ownership.

by default, you dont need to produce :) cus iphones are traced by their serial number when it was first purchased. the reason for the invoice being stuck on the counter, is cus alot of people abused their system, changing even when there's no faults. so if they spot you always appearing at their telco, they'll insist on receipt, else no servicing. :D generally no receipt is required. dont ask me how i know =:p

yeah, those heat printed ones like those mcdonalds receipt. Fade super quickly. Those dot printers surprisingly last longer. Bought a phone afew years ago at Comex where they print with those, its still clear.

Think if you wanna exchange your iphone, just need to bring IC
