Hi guys, I have a dual screen setup for my imac. Every time when i login, the screen settings for the secondary monitor(imac, which i set it) keep reverting back to the factory settings which I feel is too bright.

I always need to adjust the brightness manually everything i login. Kind of fed up liao...why the settings keep changing eh? Anyway of locking down the settings i already made?

sigh. i just sent my mbp in for repair.. flickering screen. I guess my graphic card has some problems=( luckily this happens before my warranty ends 2 weeks later.

Very serious, the moment u switch it on, the screen starts flickering, even at apple loading page, windows xp(bootcamp) and macosx. It wasn't so bad at the first place when i first booted into windows xp, the screen just dimmed by itself when i tried to tilt the screen but seconds later, the screen started flickering. I thought something wrong with the graphic card driver. Hmm so i restart the mbp again but this time it became worse, the whole screen started flicking like nobopdy business, jumping up down left and right, white lines started appearing too lol. it was worse when i tried to tilt the screen. I did it infront of the apple cso, she became speechless and immediately brought my mbp in for the technician to take alook. Fortuantely, before i make my way down to epicenter orchard, i talked to the technician on the phone and they will check it for me. and ya, most probably, they will replace a new lcd screen(stain and dead pixels), mother board(gfx faulty i guess), new trackpad(insensitive), new battery(exchanged one nt long ago) and a new charger

u're still in time to get the APP before your 1st yr warranty ends right?
think it's better to purchase one asap.

use time machine to restore back if you are using leopard.

Hi, i need help with my imac.
when i am using my imac, i found a white line appear on the left side of the display. i thought it could be something wrong with the OS X, so i reinstall it.

soon after that, i find evern more white lines and the lines are quite thick and not thin.
is it the lcd display problem or the Gpu fault.?

I hope your iMac is still under waranty.

Hopefully don't have to visit that place..

Click somewhere on your Desktop, then Option+J, and slide the Icon Size slider to your fancy.
