Hi All,

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but what would be the most value for money beginner macbook(i.e. air, pro, etc.) to get under S$2k? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

i hoot the mba 2018 model refurbished 16gb ram/512gb storage.

upgrading from early 2014 MBA model.

I sell them if I find them too slow for my work. Of course i only sell them at a good price if there is, Apple products have good resale value. Sold a few MacBooks already.

I try to sell the machines when it’s 3-5 years old. Yes, your machine is a bit too old lol

Will try to promote them on different selling platform. I sold my 15 air this year on carousell at 60% of my purchased price. Not too bad I Guess. Close to 700 cycle counts.

looking at getting a new MB.
current MBP has served me well for 10 years. fantastic beast that one.
So when i wanted to get a new MBP, couple of my friend say that new MBA is better. really meh?

Did they share why is it better? If your usage is light to average then the MBA will suffice. The Pro model is for more processing and graphics power. I use a MBA for emails, microsoft office, spotify and its more than enough.
