I learning how to use Photoshop, so prefer to manage the pic myself.
but will browsing, using iPhoto is easier, else on default, is the Preview software, which the Next & Prev dun work properly for browsing pics.

Next and prev works fine... Just make sure you open all the photos you want to open inside of Preview.

If you open only one photo, you cannot expect it to go "next" to another when there isn't any other.

Hi, I have a problem now. I've purchase the product(iDefrag) but i'm still unable to partition my HDD.. it could be the lag of correct usage of iDefrag.. =X Could you teach me how to use iDefrag? which should i use..

Did you use the full defrag option (i.e. booting off from the CD)?

hmm, i have problems waking up my macbook again once i close the lids

i did the following:

1. the macbook is plugged to charge
2. the vga cable is plugged into my external display, display can be seen on large screen
3. i close the macbook lid
4. press buttons of apple wireless keyboard

however screen turns off from my external display

Make sure it's completely asleep first. Also, check and make sure in "Bluetooth" under System Preferences, for "Advanced", you checked the box which allows for bluetooth devices to wake your Mac.

A few things you have to take note of. The keyboard COULD be somewhat different. I know the one in Taiwan is completely different from the keyboards we use here. We use the American QWERTY keyboard while in Taiwan, there are Zu4 Yin1 Fu2 Hao4 on every single button. I'm not sure about China, though.

Also, when I was in New York, I asked someone at the Apple Store if it is possible for me to buy a Macbook battery and use it back in Singapore. The person told me that machine parts are manufactured specifically for a certain country, especially when it comes to batteries. So, if the voltage is different in China, then the hardware was manufactured for Chinese customers.

It will work here for sure, but I am not sure about the long term implications.

Of course.

Applecare for MBP is international. So you can still use your China bought applecare in Singapore when you return.

Makes no sense to me as battery for a portable laptop such as Macbook or MBP or MBA should be standard and suitable for use in countries with voltages 100V to 240V. Otherwise, that means I buy battery in Singapore and not safe to use in US?

I didn't quite understand it either, but that's the reason why I didn't pick up an extra battery when I was over there in the US. I studied there for a while, you see, so I had the chance to travel around a bit. That's what I was told by a Mac genius. It doesn't make sense to me either, though.

im having some error messages when using word.

it says " the disk is full trying to write to Macintosh HD. Free some space on this drive or save the document on another disk,...."

but when i choose "Get Info" on my HD, i still have almost 100gb of available memory!

Right now, im only using adium, word, and iTunes and safari..
