i'm a mbp ''13 user. i'm feeling a need to upgrade my mbp. since i'm a mbp fan!~
will the 15 inch mbp suitable for me to use for adobe & fcp for video editing.

since a 13 inch is underkill for me.
is it about the processor or the ram is important for apps like fcp/adobe?

if it just about ram, i would just upgrade my ram instead buy a 15 inch.

any opinion/recommendation would be appreciate! :3

I need a mouse for my mbp. Should I get a very expensive magic mouse? Or a cheap $15 buck logitech mouse?
I'd watched youtube for the magic mouse features. Just want to hear some personal opinions from the ground

i prefer to stick to my razer more comfy, but razer still cannot fully support lion ( am i missing out something?? ) - so i cant use the front/back button yet

i got the magic mouse and trackpad as well
if using lion, i think track pad better imo

From what I know, an upgrade in processor speed will result in the largest improvement in rendering speed for FCP. So a quad-core should definitely be your first priority.

8gb ram definitely helps as well, but not as much as a faster processor.

I have heard that changing your HD to SSD can help as well (since it is often the bottleneck in such high end machines), but unsure of just how much, not to mention that it isn't cheap.

Where are you getting those specs? The MBP received a minor upgrade last month.

It should more than suffice, not least because the MBP 15' version has dedicated graphics card. In addition, you benefit from a larger screen. Ram's not too expensive these days, may want to go with 8gb (either install it yourself or see if you can pester the store owner to install it for you at a modest fee).

However, you may also want to make other considerations. For instance, the 15' MBP can be fairly bulky and heavy for some. Will you be traveling around with it a lot? If so, it may be better to just stick with your 13' MBP, since I believe it should handle your editing needs just fine.

Although it shows fully charged on the screen, e moment i tk out the power adaptor, it will immediately shut down.

for mbp, you can just remove the superdrive and get the superdrive ssd bay and the ssd lor. but ssd still quite pricey sia. maybe will wait a while more before i actually buy it. aiming 120GB also!

today when i uses her MBA and not sure what happened, her wallpaper gone missing. so i went to system preferences to change her wallpaper, but sys pref became unresponsive. so i force quit it and try to access it again and it gone unresponsive again. tried restarting and still same issue. any help? thanks in advance!

Bring it in for repairs, I think the battery has come loose.
