Curious to know too... Intending to go in next week... Is it once registered can go in already? Don't have to wait until after tag collection right?

As far as I know, nothing. Registered without the tag is useless. There is nothing to track. Thought someone here posted the chat with an officer that it may possibly be ready next year. Went in mid of Jun, everything as usual. Going in on Sunday morning

Their aim is to collect money.....the tag...I think can wait long long before they implement.....their objective met

I think I saw the announcement, money collect first, tag later date as there are glitches to it. Like some brother here say, objective met, non critical implementation can wait...JB will soon become a ghost town...they killed their own citizen livelihood and soon our copycat government will also implement hike to kill us as well...

To have a tag for renewal would ensure that unpaid fines would have to be paid. Otherwise, if its just like a toll fee, they cannot restrict cars with unpaid fines from going in.

So eventually, they would get it straighten up as this involves tons of money for them.

Keep our fingers crossed. The MyPaper report did not say it is delayed, just that they haven't received notification to go ahead.

Actually, they can start collecting the RM20 VEP fee from tomorrow, the Touch n Go sensor is already installed. The RFID thingy can be implemented later.

The T&G sensor for the VEP is there already. All the while, I did not tap on it. So when you say no VEP yet, did you tap on that sensor but no deduction made? Or just tap the toll sensor only and ignore the VEP sensor?

Nothing happen today. Neighbour drove in, I tobang. All things as usual. usual deduction with no extra.
