Bedok started selection!! One 4 room unit booked...![]()
i booked my 4 rooms flat (amk) this morning already... i went to check it and they still got many units left + high floor... anymore amk-ians yet to book your flat?
haha dun worry, my number is behind yours...
Haiz... I think i got no chance for nedok 4rm liao...
Need advice from senior/supreme member
For BTO project, home owners can sign up reno package offered by HDB.
Is that available for buyers of SOBF??
I read some where that SOBF units some are put up for selection because the owners gave up their choice after booking the flat during BTO stage.
HOWEVER, some of these units' owner choose to take up the reno package offered by HDB for the unit and its package into the SOBF units for offer.
Can any supreme member advise on this matter if its true?
I m buying CCK and want only to get the main gate and all doors install by HDB only.
Tiling and bath room barang barang I will purchase my own and install.
Any supreme member can advise if this is possible?
Thank you.
Why lei? Bedok 4rm only 3 selected for today..
My queue number 82 siol... Where got chance sia...
I dont think SOBF buyers have a choice. Previous buyer would have already decide on the optional components.
Anyway, all internal doors are optional which i doubt you can request to opt in but no harm try asking.
For bathroom, all tiling and waterproofing will be compulsory component plus you cant hack off until 3 years after key collection.
Btw, i am no Supreme member. Just sharing what i know coz i am also concern about ugly tiles opted in by previous owners.![]()
Hi,
I'm not really sure how the SBF works therefore I'd like to ask some qns..
On the Sales Launch page, I clicked into May 2015 BTO Sales Brochure. From there I selected Sembawang -> Map plans / Flat availability.
Then I see some units in red but some in blue.
Does that mean that those in blue will be available in the next SBF in Sept? Or they're currently being selected by people who participated in May's SBF?
Thanks!
Must yakin abit![]()
I think it shows which units are selected now... For Sep SBF it will depend on whether HDB includes that BTO Project in the sep sbf exercise...
Thanks! Fingers crossed that they'll release those units in the upcoming SBF exercise and that I'll be able to get that unit I want haha
Hello, seeking answer from experts and senior members!
1. What is the typical drop-out rate for SOBF?
2. The procedure is usually flat booking then signing agreement for lease and finally, collection of keys. With some of SOBF having key available, does it mean when we are signing agreement for lease, we are able to get the key straightaway? If no, how long more do we need to wait after signing the lease?
And, how long do we need to wait between flat booking and signing agreement for lease?
Thanks for your answers beforehand.
Not sure about Q1, but for your second question, the waiting time depends on the number of schemes/grants you're eligible for. From what HDB told me, they said the waiting time could be 4-5 months as they need time to assess your eligibility and process the grants. The grants have to be go into your CPF before you can collect your keys. If the house you're getting is ready for key collection, you will have 1 appointment after the grants are approved, and you will pay the downpayment and collect the key in the same appointment. However, if you booked a flat that is still under construction, you will have 2 appointments: 1 to make your downpayment after the grants are approved, and 1 more when the keys are ready to be collected.
I guess this also affects the drop-out rate, as some people might be heavily dependant on the grants to purchase their choice flat. If the grants don't get approved, and they cannot afford the downpayment in cash/cpf, they might drop out and forfeit the flat.
