Yup, after about 1 month, check regularly at MyHDB Page for 2nd appointment so that you can have enough time of more than a week to prepare. HDB will send out letter very late, usually only 2 to 3 days notice for your 2nd appt by the time u receive the letter.

wah ok..i still haven't apply for my HLE yet though. from what u say, i guess i shld apply straight after i select the flat since it takes 2 weeks to approve.. was thinking valid for 3 mths dunno whether can sign lease by then, later have to apply again for HLE v mafan. but if what u said is correct, then better to apply earlier i guess..3 mths shld be juz nice.. and thanks for the info

No need to apply HLE early. HDB will give you the hardcopy forms and prepaid envelop on your 1st appt day. Take home and take your time to fill up and post back the form with documents to them.

If more than 3 months haven't signed AOL, can always request for HLE extension by another 3 months.

The HDB did not give you correct info. You must have the HLE ready when you go to 2nd appt to sign lease agreement so that u only need to pay 5% or 10% downpayment, pay 20% for taking bank loan or 100% if you are so rich that no need to take any loan.

No need submit form and document. Usually they will auto extend. If not, just have to call them. Make sure call the right person, most hdb people at hotline will tell you need to resubmit everything again which is not true.

The queue number that you have currently is the number that contains other ethic group as well. We just dun know wat the percentage makeup in the queue number.

If your number falls in the first 100 percentile, you will definitely be able to select a unit. Just that it may not be your choice unit.

I think, all BTO must have 70% being purchased, then the HDB will start to build. BTW can you post some window view for us for reference if you stay high floor. Thanks

Chinese ethnic quota is 747. so if youre a Chinese and your number is 1-747, you confirm can get a unit (but not necessary is your desired unit). if your number is >747, you still stand a chance cause those holding number 1-747, may not all be Chinese
