Log in to myhdb page using singpass. It will show the last Q number for the day for the type of room u going to select. From there you can know how many drop out everyday at the end of day.




Where exactly do you find the q nos for the day? i tried to login but couldn't find it....

Am interested in May BTO top floor unit, but i've never stayed on a topmost floor before. Anyone can share experience? what are the downside of this?

Once u login to MyHDBpage, click on My Flat, then click on New Flat, and then on the ref/Reg No. Scroll down and u can see the queue numbers.

Tnks, but i followed what u said but still couldn't find. Last item i see is Quick Links after the Contact Us.

Only for those have queue numbers and also flat type. If you applied for 3rm you will not see the 4rm last queue. Hope this helps.

Weird...I was involved in Mar BTO exercise but didn't chose it in the end cos no good units. HDB only rested for a day, that is, Sat throughout the selection exercise.

Wonder why KW got soo many q number but they rested for 2 days after starting for a day. Hmm...

Hi, I ever came across a mly lady who applied for Mar BTO and was given an appt in 3rd wk of Jun 12. She was already so excited coz she applied like quite a few times but was rejected, and this time she got an appt. from HDB. Then unfortunately 1 night, she got an sms from HDB 1 or 2 days b4 her appt date informing her not to come down for selection already as quota already reached. And she was devastated.

I came across her comments in FB some time back, by chance.

Now I wonder, those with big Q no. like mine.... HDB still gave me appt date. If what the mly lady said is true, then my hopes will also be shattered liao.

heys, yep..sad to say, its true... due to the quota issue even with Q no. (for those out of available units range), might not be able to choose an unit in the project or the block. You can refer to the HDB website for Flats Available for Selection (For Invited Applicants), once the Available Ethnic Quota hits, you wouldnt be able to select any units even thou the Units Available for Selection is still available.

hdb actually only allocate 3 or 4 days per week for every development.

Hmm...not true for every development. I have been monitoring the previous Mar BTO development until last min, I decided to give up cause no good units.

I am confused now.

Before today, I used to know that if I gonna take a HDB loan, I need to pay 5% downpayment + 3% stamp fee during the signing of lease agreement. And when I am about to collect the keys (which is 5 years later), I will pay another 5%.

But today when I ask someone, he told me I need to pay 10% downpayment + 3% stamp fee during signing of lease agreement and another 10% when key collection.

Now which is the correct one if I need to take a HDB loan now?

Pay 5% (+3% stamp duty) now and another 5% upon key collection. This is only applicable if 1 or both the couple are under 30s.

actually i understand ur concern. i actually tot i only need to pay 5% downpayment plus the 3% stamp fee when i bought the Sept 2008 BTO Fernvale Residence (i gave it up 6mths before key collection due to personal issue).
Instead i paid 10% downpayment plus the stamp fee.. i didnt ask much too.. but i rem babylana say 10% if anyone one of the applicants is above 30..
