Just curious whether this is really true with the new HDB -- I heard a lot of people say that which side windows are facing is a lot more important to determine whether it will be hot or not. :s11:

Oh well, not that I will get much a chance to choose the top floor unit :look:

The temperature at the top of the stack will still be hotter than the rest of the units below simply because of greater surface area on the roof. Or if you are unlucky enough and the roof leaks maybe it will be more cooling haha. There are quite a number of horror stories of the amount of tachi that happens when getting them to fix the roof, which in the meantime your false ceiling, furniture, flooring etc may be damaged.

Heard the newer model has better insulation at the roof, not some lousy tiles insulation like my current home, trap a lot of heat at night.

You can get queue no is a blessing, if you can also choose top floor unit, take it as a bonus.

Ya if you are unlucky to get a faulty roof, be prepared to spend alot of time and effort on it.

Speaking from personal experience as I stayed in top floor unit before....
Yes, top floor units are hotter. Just imagine it is "under the sun" for a good 5-6 hours (maybe from 10am till 4pm).

Just to share.

Ystd last q number for KW 3rm was 000007. Today it became 000012 and only 1 unit was taken ystd. Does that mean there are 6 dropouts or just one of the system error again?

Today should be the beginning of normal ballot (no more MGPS).

Seems like people still believe in living in a homely and quieter environment and nearer to amenities and MRT.

MT Blk 113A is taken up very quickly...

Based on 6 queue numbers 5 days a week and there is no public holiday this month, your selection date should be earlier than 30 Jul.

Prob the officer is going on 1 week leave? Or probably, they are going to work on the 3-room selection first? Nobody will know except the HDB officer.
