hey guys, pls help!! I'm choosing next week and i'm not sure which unit is better. Could you all pls advice me if 115 or 117 is better? 117 has impact of west sun but better view and 115 has lesser impact of the west sun but more blocked view. 109 are almost all taken up haiz.. headache headache...

Ill choose 115 over 117 cause of the bedroom wall in 117 being exposed to west sun. View wise I think most impt is the view from the living room. If you look at the site plan, the living room views for both stacks are almost identical. Only diff is the bed room views. I'll sacrifice bedroom views for no west sun hitting the wall. Just my opinion.. Go with your heart! Congrats on your queue and selection next week!

Congrats on ur selection! Which block did u choose? What kind of questions did the HDB officer ask u & partner?

We choose the 2nd best choice after 109.. hehe.. That day it was crowded so we try to make it as fast as possible. The officer mainly asked whether we own any properties, want to choose any optional fittings, checking through our documents submission, printing lots of stuffs for us to sign, no time to read through all of them also. Sometimes I feel so sad that we are parting half a million to purchase something but we have so little information from HDB over our purchase.. haiz..
Btw for those who are selecting their units soon, remember to print out your 15 months CPF statement if you intend to take up HLE.

oh... so you did you HLE on the spot or you do it beforehand?

did you help to check if the 30+ unselected queue numbers are they drop outs? or people who choose to select later or whatever reason?

I did call my HDB officer in regards to the unselected queue numbers. They are dropouts as we are not allowed to push our selection to a later date for whatever reason. We will have to get a representative to do the selection even if we cannot make it.

Hi kagay one more thing to take note. 115 service yard is facing the common corridor. Ppl can see you. 117 service yard is at another end, can't view from corridor. You can check out the model at hdb hub as well for clearer picture.

We did the hle on the spot.

I did check with the officer on the dropouts concern. She told me it could be real dropout or deferment of appt. If the latter was chosed, the applicant has to bear the risk their choice unit may not be available then. I asked her how many ppl has deferred their selection, she don't have the stats. But she also mentioned very seldom ppl will reschedule their appt also.

I only take up the flooring not doors. Coz the doors we can only select option 9a which is not nice plus the toilet door we thought it will be better for sliding version due to space limitation.
