for BL, the two unit that can have good views with partial block and the "free" space outside the door will be 117 and 127 and they also get to enjoy lesser noise as they are further inside or facing the non major lavender st. bendemeer is a very busy and noisy road compared to lavender st. the hot unit 109 will have more dust and noise and maybe the bad fengshui facing the cross junction and also it dun have the "free" space as mentioned abv. 109 'free" space is taken by 107

I had seen a FS master and he told me that 117 isnt a gd unit as the kitchen facing is bad. I don't know it apply to individual or in general.

HDB designer should be sack for making such lousy flat design. got so many wasted space..

i dun understand why is the 3 room flat for BL having a useless gap/space in the kitchen? why hdb must take away that area? MT dun have this problem for their 3 room flat loh

apparently, they just want to keep to the "fixed" size of 3room flats... if they give you that box, they will increase the size.... ridiculous though...

4 room

10 available for selection today.
9 unit taken 1 malay ,8 chinese

Total unit :888
Unit still available : 734
Selection Q number : 206
total number of selected unit 888 -734 = 154
total number of drop out 206 - 154 = 52
% drop out is 52/206 x100% = 25.24 %

And base on the Ethnic Quota
Chinese : 608
Malay :191
Others : 98

If all remaining unit from tomorrow is selected by chinese the last q number before the ethnic Quota for chinese is reach would be 206 + 608 = 814.

And should there be no more drop out the q number will end @ 888+ 52 = 940

kw bto 2012

Hi all, till date the selection is less than 25% of launched. What if after we select a unit, at the end of the selection exercise, hdb decides not to build this estate?

yes really lucky man! i totally understand the agony of waiting for your turn! best of luck to you man!

ur analysis just made me feel better. haha anyway the block in front highest level is 25. so that's why 26 and above have all been taken up. but i selected 264 not for its city view, more so for it's kallang/ecp view. the national stadium will be up by then and during national day, you are likely to view the fireworks display from ur living/bedrooms! so even if you are below 26 it's still fine:)

all the best for your selection!

another good 4 room in mt is 256. unblock by the 25 level blk 105, with city view and also lots of free space/passage.

Don't rally understand why HLE must be done so soon. We will only get our key in 4-5 years time. What if by then we are jobless?? and can't affort the Flat? Will HDB return our 10% ?

the current govt never did care about you or me. they only care how to squeeze the citizens dry to fund their investments which the returns are privatised, never for the citizens. the old hdb flats are much affordable because the old teams are geared to sell the flats are affordable ratio where the flats are priced to be in profit but affordable by citizens.

most ppl of that time can clear their loans in 10-20 yrs comfortablt. the current govt wants to use the flats to make us work like slaved till we die hence the price are so high. that explains why hdb stop publishing the cost of flats which they always did last time. as i am from the construction sector. i can assure you the cost of land and the flat are way below what they are selling to you hence hdb that time can afford to pay hundreds of millions to retrench almost all their staffs, privatised and re-employ them. They have something to hide and being a private corp makes it a good shield when ppl blames the cost of flats.

Ya... Then govt ask us start family soon.... Blah blah blah... But don't give us funding to support. Me and partner not eligible for AHG and our income exceed less than $1k also can't get support.. Then if reject HLE, we all dun need to even start thinking of starting one... Hai....
