me too, besides Apple Stores are the best to bring your Apple devices for servicing.
especially the staffs are very nice.
you pay premium price for their products should expect this kind of service

That's right, so I expect nothing less and their service is second to none.

Not really true though. I had a pretty nasty encounter with one ang moh guy at Jewel. ;) Apparently the floor manager too, so not some low-level fella.

He was all fake smiles in front of me, but I overheard some things he was whispering to a colleague about, along with shooting me dirty looks.

Think I know which ang moh guy you're referring to but I've been to Apple Jewel frequently as I work at Airport and have bought many things from there, including a few Genius appointments.

My experience there so far is very friendly and warm service, nothing as what you described. Perhaps I've not been personally served by that ang moh guy but by many of his other colleagues.

Even with Orchard and MBS stores, no bad experiences for me, though a few are not as open as the others, but still nothing as you described.

Good service at MBS .Got my 2015 15" MacBook Pro topcase replaced for free due to battery bloating ( bought in Dec 2018) .Not in warranty and this particular one not under recall.Quoted $288 initially which I thought was acceptable price but later changed under QC program :).1 day turn around as they had the parts in stock.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Ya I also need more time for weekday leh, prob will schedule during my 'lull period', next Friday at Genius bar.

will come back to share my experience here aft it's done.
Just an update for my experience at MBS Genius Bar. booked the earliest slot I could find last Friday at 11.15am to send in my macbook. Got an email saying that it's ready for collection on Monday 11.53am. Awesome man.

Very happy with my experience. The person attending to mentioned for my case of battery swelling, the battery was pushing upwards - onto the motherboard, keyboard and trackpad. All that had to be changed suppose to cost S$260. Had AppleCare so did not have to pay.

Data was not wiped by the repair, though I did sign a form for potential data wipe. Had done a Time Machine backup before my appointment.

Thank you bros for sharing and recommending. Hope this helps future bros needing to send in their devices!

The battery replacement warranty is 90 days only? I had my battery replace 1 year ago and now is starting to swell again.
