Most keyboards on the market use a rubber dome and membranes, a physical switch, or a capacitance sensor to detect key position. The Hall Effect uses magnets. Compared to a mechanical switch, the Hall sensor is inherently bounce free, water resistant, and it offers short response time. Key action is linear and super smooth because there are no contacts being brought together. Plus, since there are no contacts to wear out, the keys will last a lifetime (or as long as the magnet stays strong and the plastics don’t wear out).

Just manage to offload my leopold after price cut. Heart pain but better than putting a paper weight there.

yeah.. 60% is really not for everyone. i can't live without the arrow keys and the 6 keys above it.

i even tried 70% keyboards, cannot also. i'm just not used to it.. with all the keys cramped together, i just can't feel for the keys that i want.

my ducky shine 3 died on me after 2 years..
Tried K70 RGB and Shine 5 before.. don't think RGB are necessary.
using Taihao PBT doubleshot keycaps currently
any recommendation for a new keyboard?

i've been looking at the one that varmillo has with the arrows, in delete. and that's it.

quite chio, might be good for work, taking up less desk space.

The real GMK carbon is made in germany.

This one is made in china.

But should be very close in term of build quality.

Wow all in it will cost more than 350usd! Another similar kit is the rare White Fox.
