not only just that, the backplate, the flexibility of a programmable PCB, the switches, the casing, the key layout, all makes a difference.

for example, i find that the Varmilo that I'd bought from taobao tend to be a little loud and sound very metalic due tot the backplate used. some cheap keyboards come with plastic casing that really makes the whole keyboard feels very cheap even if it's mechanical. it's also quite tough to get those very niche layout (e.g. 40%, 75%, 90%, redscarf III, etc) on a mainstream brand.

the enthusiast keyboards (e.g. lightsavers) try to overcome all these problems by using good parts that they are able to get their hands on, and probably allow a certain level of flexibility as well. the thing is.. they are really darn costly, to say the least.

I honestly thought they always fall into the same category. :s13::s13::s13:

wah the varmilo is so bad ah? I thought it is quite decent already. now looking for a set of keycaps for my novatouch then can try see at home, how I like the feel of them..

Any way to fix non clicky cherry blue switch/razer green switch?

Just got my Blackwidow chroma few days back but 2 keys are not clicking. Rest of the keys are working like they should. Is this even normal?

I told you guys in the qoo10 thread that 2 of my arrow keys feel weird ( lighter and not as much click) so I emailed Razer to ask about it.
They said is an hardware issue and told me to exchange a new set
.
Went down to BL and exchange a new set.
Now my current set generally feels very mushy and the click sounds feel weak compared to my old set. :vijayadmin: :s22:
Razer support taking very long to reply me.
I really kay kian. -.-

Maybe you can go down BL and change? But hopefully you wont be as suay as me.
