I'm looking to buy a surface tablet for study purposes.

You can try MS online customer support, but I tell you the repair cost so high for non-warranty items, as good as buy new one

Yes, this is common. Another work around is buy a Bluetooth keyboard and use.

mine also had the same issue. i guess the type cover just went bonker.

mine is the 64 gb model.

Surface pro 8 going to launch end this year... i still thinking to buy pro 7 or wait pro 8. Any advice?
