Ook! Was a little worry about not receiving my items. Is ebay reliable? Lol
No worries. If you have not received the sleeve one month later, you can contact the seller and they will be able to reship your order.
If they don't, you may leave a negative rating or file a dispute against them.

Hi ET

I have removed the email account, rebooted and created again but still the same. I have also deleted the mail app and reinstalled.

Anything else I can do?

What type of email are you synching?

can't decide between 128gb/4gb vs 256gb/8gb
In case no one posted before me.

128GB $999, 256GB $1299. That's in USD BTW. ;) I'm getting 128GB. Gotta save $ for the Power Cover which I estimate at USD$299. But too bad no backlit. Maybe I get Type Cover 2 first, then Power Cover next year! :s12:

i think instead of giving away 200gb skydrive and skype minutes...they should packed in the covers.......USD100+ for the covers is abit tough to swallow..

if order from usa then ship a surface pro 2, do ms have international warranty?

Yes, MS will honour the warranty, based on earlybirds who bought Surface Pro 1.

I'm going to bring it in from USA. My only headache is should I go for the Cyan or Purple Type Cover 2.

Surface Pro 2 main improvement over Surface Pro.

- 20% faster due to dual-channel LPDDR3 ram
- 40-50% faster 3D GPU performance, good for presentation on Powerpoint 2013
- 10 to 15% cheaper than Surface Pro
- HUGE 512GB SSD + 8GB for power-users & programmers
- 60-75% increase battery life, meaning a realworld 6 hours of usage
- Expandable to realworld 10 hours with Power Cover, which probably weigh 250-300g based on 30Wh Lithium Ion. (Can be brought down to 200g if Lithium Polymer but cost 30-40% more $)
- 2 stage kickstand
- Type/Touch covers are backlit & thinner
- Bluetooth attachment for Type/Touch cover allow remote typing for Surface, possibly ALL laptops/PC/tablets as long as drivers are available

"Giving" away 200GB of Skydrive is effectively free for MS mah! Skype minutes will cost a little bit of $. Hi-speed/hi-density mSATA MLC NAND flash modules are expensive!

Why you think MS so profitable? LOL...

Remember they write-off USD$900m just so they can give discount for Surface and Surface Pro. Where got company do things this way?

Cost of type cover 2 + 128 Pro2 = (USD 999 + 129.9) * 1.26 = SGD 1422.4
Shipping via VPOST = S$ 13.4 +(7.2 + 1.9)*2 (assume 2kg) = 31.6
GST = (1422.4 + 31.6 ) * 0.07 = 101.78
Insurance = (1422.4 + 31.6 + 101.78) * 0.03 = 46.6
Total Cost = 1602

That's so ex.

would it be cheaper then to buy surface pro 1 (if they marked it down) then add the power cover? the battery life likely to be the same as surface pro 2 without power cover but heavier.

M$ made money because of their Enterprise services and licensing....they are on the opposite end of the spectrum in comparison to apple (mostly hardware profit margin) :p

Yah but I don't wanna wait till next April then get this baby. My TabletPC fan & batteries dying liao. Cannot wait liao. Anyway 6 hours battery life I can live with. Surface Pro 4 hours not enough.

Surface Pro 128GB is $1198 + Power cover (est. $330) give you 6hr realworld battery, compared to close to 10 hrs for Surface Pro 2. No fight.

If you just plug in power cover to Surface Pro, the price probably not that attractive also, not to mention the extra weight.

I tried to do a pre-order for pro 2 on MS US website but apparently they will accept US credit cards. Any one has the same problem?
