I have something similiar. For the cable you will need a 5.5mmx2.1mm connector, both side female, (see the aliexpress offer) to connect the SP3 charging cable to the power bank cable.

I had a look again at the Astro link you provided. It provides a male to female connector. So don't need the 5.5mmx2.1mm connector. The SP3 cable connects to this plug provided.

There is another Anker Astro with digital readout. Much nicer.

Cool! Thanks for the infor. Your setup charged able to charge the SP3 properly? Cos based on online spec, the SP3 requires 12VDC @ 2A. So far i found the Anker Astro Pro2 and the Qi-Infinity.

Just curious, what battery did you purchase ie Brand and Model? Or just get any generic 18650 batteries?

The Xiaomi battery power bank provides only 5v USB. The SP3 need 12v. I think it is a tad heavy. The SP3 already provides for 8 hrs. Probably need a power bank to provide another 8 hrs may be sufficient. Anyway it is the users choice.

Got the Samsung batteries. Also can look for LG, Sony & Panasonic for reliability.

Just got a USB 3.0 hub with RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter.

Definitely a cheap and good alternative for the dock.

The network speed is quite good as well.

Though the network status shows 1Gb and I am having 200Mbps internet, I am happy with the speed.

BTW, has anyone managed to get do port forwarding for your surface? previously, i turned my firewall off. I am able to get the 'green light' for my BitComet. I then pinpointed that BitComet wasn't added to the firewall exception. I then added BitComet to the exception manually, I am still unable to clear the amber light.

Can anyone help on this?

Try opening google map from Metro. i.e. at Metro screen do a search "map". Then look for google map. Somehow it opens the desktop map. Open your map. Can pan.
If I open Chrome from desktop, then Apps for maps, I also cannot pan my created maps.
