It is back again now, limited offer - free kb for 3 days.... But I will still wait for the Surface Pro 4.

For Surface 3? I am 100% sure they are not releasing a Surface 4, should be safe to buy. If you're aiming for the Pro, then wait.

Extended Warranty for Surface Pro 3

Hey guys,

Just bought a Surface pro 3 from a friend. I'm trying to purchase the extended warranty online but unable to. Had a session with the helpdesk earlier on and they say the only way will be to drop by their office (Marina Boulevard) to buy it instead.

Sounds weird as my colleague got it purchased online after he bought from someone else too.

For those that remember, how long after sp3 was introduced was it available for sale in sg? My old laptop's dying and I'm about ready to give up on sp4 and buy the sp3 now.

I can more or less remember it was like 4 weeks. Microsoft did a terrible job in releasing global stocks at the point of time. Perhaps they've underestimated the demand. Priority is given to those who have pre-ordered before they release the remaining stocks to the public which was like 6-8 weeks from launch.

Announced May 2014 in the US. Released in SG late August 2014. Roughly 3 months.

Do anyone experience Surface Pro 3 internal browser do not work on Wireless AC network (5Ghz) but it is fine on Wireless N (2.4GHz). Did anyone finally get this issue resolved ????

Trying the whole week uninstall and re-install wireless Network adaptor still could not get it work on Wireless AC network.
All suggest solutions from the microsoft help desk all do not work.

Surface Pro 4 looks like a very good product from released informations. Finally a proper hybrid that can replace a notebook, but after the disastrous Window 8 experience, I am actually learning to live without Window OS, so far so good. I wonder if Microsoft has finally delivered an usable OS in Window 10 and great product in Surface Pro 4 but just a tad too late to get back into the game. I am considering Surface Pro 4 but may switch to Apple ecosystem for good. Those guys at MS really run the company to the ground. It's almost criminal for Steve Ballmer to destroy the company and walked away with more than US$20 Billions.
