I'm in the situation as you. Have you made the change?
For me, I use less than 5GB. So the new offer is actually a good chance to save money ($20+ vs $14.95), even if the speed doesn't really improve.
But I'm wondering with the change of subscription plan, will there be any issues using the multi-sim on a usb modem? Since they made it so clear now that "Surf on Mobile" plans are meant for handphone usage, will they block it if they detect that the connection is thru a usb modem? I'm calling Singtel to ask, but don't really trust their CSO.
I was waiting for the previous guy to update on the improvement of speed. But no updates so far.
Didn't want to wait anymore. So, I just went ahead to 'change the plan' to Surf on mobile Premium, 12 months $14.95. But the CSO ask me if I want to terminate the old BBOM 1Mbps plan! Buy signing up the new BBOM Premium plan, it will not terminate the old BBOM 1Mbps. That means 2 BBOM plan on 1 mobile line!!! Really cannot trust their CSO.
The Premium service will turn on in 1-3 working days. If I terminate the old BBOM 1Mbps plan will also take 1-3 working days. What if the termination is faster than the new turn-on? I will be paying by KB???
Asked to call back 1 working day to see if the new Premium plan is active? *sigh* talking about customer service. Shouldn't the service provider call the customer back when the service is activated? or sms? Am I asking too much?
Anyhow, once activate, will update here if I get a faster speed.
