Going to be using Mobile Broadband in Orchard, wondering if I should just stick with M1 since I have 3 plans already and get the bundle discount 30% off everything

or should I save myself the trouble and join Starhub since most people are saying it's more stable..

cyberian, see if you could try it again at some other time?

weap0nx, in town area, I think there is really not much difference. You've already experience with M1, so it depends if you're happy with the service and whether you can put up with those niggly problems of slow DNS (sometimes) and poor performance when you open too many connections at the same time. If you can, nothing to stop you from using M1 again - 30% is always good money to save, regardless of how much it really is.

Thanks guys. Please remember, we're looking at the max your plans could hit in the respective areas, and especially if you have been using it for a while, try to recall your highest download speed.

Hello, I use the M1 1Mbps mobile BB. I think it is relatively okay, just that when I'm downloading stuff I cannot surf net anymore. When I want to let my download run through the night when I slp, it will auto disconnect. Other than the downloading part, it is pretty reliable.

Please provide:
1. Singtel
2. 1Mbps
3. Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, near AMK HUB
4. 1Mbps
5. 9
6.
7. Most of the times (905) can get 1mbps constant if downloading or watching video. No gripes so far.

M1 at East Coast area, get 1mbps or less for 2mbps plan. But for surfing it's perfectly alright not blazing fast but really acceptable. Get 2mbps if you need to surf and do a bit of downloading.
