And Starhub has just pushed out the i2surf plan... which means the mobile-data bandwidth is going to get even more crowded and congested for Starhub users. Starhub users just have to hope that the area you use it in primarily isn't too crowded.

Anyone on Starhub 21Mbps MBB around Sin Ming's Midview City?

How's the speed like? Me asking on behalf of a friend who works there.

Thanks!

Starhub 1.2Mbps

let me add toa payoh near braddell mrt to the list of "BAD" and slow place.

Am using Starhub 1.2Mbps at toa payoh near Braddell MRT area also... speed is quite slow.. but reasonable.

I got a question... so it seems if i use M1 7.2Mbps , might not be faster than my present starhub 1.2Mbps correct?

ALl depends on area..

Cos these USB braodband are fighting for the bandwidth right??

The postpaid types are usually "to the max" of their current infrastructure, because they want to facilitate postpaid users in using up their allocation. At least for M1, I've gotten the feeling that data-only SIMs were indeed slower.

Even since the priority packet data plans were launched, i felt that data connectivity for my mobile phone became slower. It could be a placebo effect for all i know.

Call CSO, request to talk to NOC team, ask them to check if you are being throttled. My company's mobile broadband got throttled. similar speed as yours for 7.2Mbps plans daily. They will tell you that usage is high so ganna throttled. What rubbish is that!
