Just did a comparison, 2720MD gold has displayport whereas 2730MD dun have... seems like qoo10 also have resellers, which are reliable? only saw from dream-seller at ebay..

and where did you read that more ports(hdmi, dp, dvi-d) will create higher input lag? would like to do more research on it.

Also, if i play games on 1920x1080, the game wun have black bars, right? it will just fit the 1920x1080 over the 27", in which pictures may look slightly pixelated??

Haha looks like i got it the other way around!
Can just google cos i remember reading up quite alot of different monitor as well as the crossover and korean monitor stuff and quite many (most probably true) says that more ports are one of the factors inducing higher input lag. Maybe can google search abit?? Should be quite easy find.

And no it wont have black bar as long as the resolution you playing at is the same aspect ratio.

Pixelated? Definitely not. Many monitors out there that are 27" at 1920x1080 sell very well. But if you compare 1080p with 1440p can really see how clear 1440p is and the difference. 80% more pixels!! But still 1080p will still be good to look at even in 27".

Wah ... I only got 2 x CrossOver 27Q ... how many you want to setup?

I think best would be 3 x 24" LED monitor. Value for $$ setup.

Ya very true, 27" x 3 really crazy. My first few hour adapting to 27" 1440p was quite difficult, comming from a single 24" 1080p setup. Really cant imagine 3 x 27", unless maybe you go for vertical setup.. But your neck going to hurt hahaha

Wow! Just realised that 2560x1440 is 77.7% bigger than 1920x1080.

I was on 2 x 24" Full HD setup and upgraded to 2 x 27" CrossOver now.

Vertical setup is not really practical IMHO. Plus with 2560x1440 resolution, best effect is to seat nearer. So 2 is already max I will go.

Anymore will be reverting back to 24" x 3 liao. Because with 2 monitor setup, the middle is where the bezel of the monitor meets. Whereas for triple monitor setup ... the middle is the screen.

Juz go qoo10 and type crossover monitor. You can read from this thread or overclock forum and have many review on sellers, only AccessoriesWhole and Green-Sum and 1 more ebay seller worth buying from(dream-seller if im nt wrong). Qoo10 only got AccessoriesWhole and I highly recommend him. Qoo10 cheaper also..

All specs are stated in the page details but if you too lazy to look up each and everyone to find out what you need, then the standard Crossover 27Q Black is probably what you are looking for. Only got Dual Link Dvi, if you need more input or other ports can go with 2720 or 2730. DONT CHOOSE 27QD(got D behind if you don't notice) it's the plastic frame with speaker.

Then if it says Pivot or got -P behind the name means it's pivot version(most prob dun need unless you doing some weird things or going vertical setup), and can topup $100 for pixel perfect(not recommended).

Both monitor already used for about 1yr already.

I bought the CrossOver 27Q with pivot stand. Both monitor are working well till today. Hope that this 2 monitor will last me another 4yrs!! *fingers crossed*

*Finger crossed* Hopefully can last to 5yrs.

I asked Kent3888 for feedback before, and this was his recent reply.
For anyone considering.

Anyway, i had bought an IPS dell 23" as replacement as i felt 27" was too big for my desk and together with monitor speakers...

hi, i jus saw your posting and was thinking of the same model?
mind sharing how is it after 4months now?
Besides the plastic casing which is a let down.

120herz no issue?
Power adapter hot?
Price u paid?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the extreme late reply. I can so so far sooo good, I have no regrets getting this monitor anytime over those Dell or so, The surface is Glossy but not overly glossy to see my reflection. Picture quality is excellent, and the versatility of having HDMI out was great for my PS3. It's my all in one entertainment heart in my cramped room. haha... good luck on your purcahse =)

Multi input versions have a scaler inside. It should allow any output to drive the monitor. But if the seller say so, I guess you should be a little more cautious.

Are these overclockable as well?

Plan to get one.. But with hdmi for ps3. Do they run as good as the plain dvi ones in terms of overclockability for pc gaming?

there are models that can be overclocked. not sure which exactly. maybe a quick search on the model name plus overclock on google will give you some results.

i believe the multi input monitors have a higher lag input time as compared to the single DVI input monitors. This is because the multi input monitors have a built-in scaler.
