What's the difference between 'PC Bank' and 'Crossover' LEDs? From what I know, the A- panels have between 1 to 5 dead pixels while A+ do not have dead pixels.

Eh i read some where, all of the brands mentioned in this thread uses the same panels . The reason they have minimum 5 dead pixels becos those are rejected qc. That is why u can see the price is affordable

Sry if this doesn't ans ur question

One of my PC is linked via HDMI to my 42" LED TV .... but I still would prefer my 24" LCD monitor.

Thanks for the reply. I do know that the A- panels have between 1 to 5 dead pixels, that's why it's cheap.

What I don't understand is if they're all using the same panels, why are they having different prices across brands when the specs and funtionality is exactly the same e.g.

CROSSOVER 27Q LED 27 DVI-D Dual S-IPS S$399.99
ACHIEVA Shimian QH270-Lite 27 LED HD S$369.99
PC Bank 3 View PB2700 27 inch LED S$379.99

Actually it appears that some might not have dead pixels at all, depends on your luck.

Price difference due to build quality ba.

same panels, if thats what you're asking.

also can refer to the link i posted for reference. compiled some info that i've researched before making my purchase.

lastly, A- panels is not 1 - 5 pixel faults, is 0 - 5. many have perfect panels.

Yeah, that's what I did after I posted. Your comments are very useful but I wonder if I should just order the cheapest ACHIEVA Shimian QH270-Lite or ACHIEVA Shimian QH270-IPSBS because it's the exact same price.

depends really. you want tempered glass or don't want. you want to bear the additional risk of dust behind panel for the exchange of better aesthetics (imo tempered glass makes the monitor look awesome. beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, you decide :) )

something kinda weird happened... i made an offer of 320.00 usd to red cap for the 27q Crossover, no email or anything regarding if he accepted that offer, yesterday came an email frlm ebay stating " please pay for the item .... " clicked the link and its showing me the price of 320.00 usd and I can make payment.

so i made payment with paypal and so on as per usual at that offered price. Wondering if what I did was correct.. cos still awaiting for "payment receieved and shipment" from the seller.
