Mine have almost no backlight bleed, just minor at the side but can hardly see.
Even my iPhone bleed more than this. Anyway, many phone and devices and other monitor also have BLB issues, most people just cant tell only. Because if it's not damn serious, it doesn't affect usage at all unless you playing in the dark. Even so, only when have very dark or black colors on your screen only then you can see that it has a lighter shade due to bleeding light from the sides/hind.

BLB/Dead Pixels should be the least of your worries when thinking of getting a Korean 1440P.

It is my workstation, so many times I have use excessively >50hours/week.
No issues thus far, have this monitor for at least 3months already I think?

are you using the 2735AMG ? Thks for sharing

Bros.. is it worthwhile spending an extra 80bucks for a pixel perfect version? or should i just go for the normal one?

looking at this one.
Qoo10-Singapore - Computer / Laptop - *Perfect Pixel* New CROSSOVER BL...

or just go for normal which is around 80 bucks cheaper.

Go for the normal one bro.
If I'm not wrong, theres more reported dead pixels with pixel perfect than normal version from OCN forums.
$80 really not worth pixel perfect haha, even got dead pixels at 1440p, barely noticable even at very close range.

The amount of dust/dirt my monitor collect in 1 day which is bigger than the size of a deadpixel on 1440p is countless LOL, and I dont even realise until I clean it, and looking very closely, I ALWAYS mistake dust for dead pixel even when I know where my dead pixel is.

So yeah take it as a tiny irritating speck of dust you can never remove, that you probably wont notice unless it is at dead centre. Even so, it should be quite hard to spot at a distance.

Save your money.. 27" monitor at 1080p only. Lesser PPI than a 23" bro, and if you really want a 1080p at 27", many look for cheaper alternatives such as AOC and Dell. Asus sells so premium price..

1440P is 80% MORE pixels than 1080P, you can hoot a korean 1440P monitor at much lower than $500... If you stack gmarket coupons well enough, $36x only can get crossover 27Q.

Thanks TZ... I took the plunge and went for q0010's ... QNIX QX2710LED. $339 after discount. awesome price.

27q cant switch on, power button buang. any bros here know any remedy?

Confirm gone case?

IIRC, somebody here his 27Q backlight board is spoilt. Means that got display but no backlight.

After he confirm the problem, he wrote to the seller and they mail him the replacement board. Then he replace it onnhis own here and it was running ok again.

If you can isolate where the fault is, you can try to get the replacement parts and change it yourself.

Gratz bro, damn shiok price. I think I stacked like $10 item + $10 cart coupon, then for no reason like a few weeks later I see got $10 QMoney, I probably won or got cash-back, I don't even know why LOL!!

Hope yours come with no issue, and better still no dead pixel! Do come and review or let us know how it turns out!!

Wah lau, how you can get $339? Freaking good prices.

This one must patiently wait for coupon one, and slowly dig. I subscribe to newsletter but they spam a lot junk also. Always glance see got coupon or not, then click click see really got or not and try and collect some and stack. Take note some expire damn quickly.

Here :

Qoo10-Singapore - Computer / Laptop -

It is still listed as $339 after $50 discount. initially i thought it was US dollars but looking closer, it says S$339 ... Sing dollars. fwaahhhh Click Buy... no need wait :s13::s13::s13::s13:

Shiok. Which panel type you buy? I heard the tempered glass one have issue with dust getting stuck wor.

IMO this should be the better buy over Crossover 27Q, but the 27Q really solid built haha. This one cheaper though and heard many overclocks over 100hz+

I bought the matt finished. so far so good. No HDMI connector, just DVI.

on my older 23" samsung and 24" LG screens, there are bunch of buttons to adjust whatever. But for Qnix 2710LED, there is just a brigthness button and Volume buttons.

Built wise, it just about the same as my samsung/LG monitors. Pretty satisfied with it overall. no dead pixels, and even if there is I won't be able to see it.

No dead pixel is still a good thing :D!

You can try to overclock it if you're venturous enough!

I know for sure my 27Q color reproduction looks a heck load better than any previous samsung 23/24" I've had.

hm.. i also thought of contacting seller about that problem... but so far the monitor is working without any problem . so i guess i will let it pass with a black tape..

yup, this one is the new blacktune 2735amg ... bought this one coz it look quite nice... build quality wise.. i'd say at MOST 6/10... the white colour bar below is hallow inside... with a bit of force u can push it in.. and the "touch" control panel.... i only finds the power button working(luckily)and it takes abit of getting used to that button... and the stand also , even thou its made of metal... its hallow inside... hopefully it won't give in to monitor's weight after sometime.

I order also the 2735AMG and just got it today. Tested and did not find any dead/bright pixel. Overall quite happy with the panel. Downside is the touch panel does not really work beside the power button and the screen is not as bright as my previous 27 inch display. For the price, cannot really complain liao :D
