Remember to register first, then 1st deposit of 140k, the 40 days period starts and 80k of it will earn 6.8%. The remaining will earn the std underlying rate. Then on 15th may when you deposit 10k, the 40 days period will get extended to 60 days, starting point will continue to remain from the date of 1st deposit i.e. tomorrow and you enjoy 6.8% on the entire 150k(upto 200k) from May 15th until end of 60 day period.

You can withdraw anytime. There is no lock in. You earn the underlying ~3.7% return on a daily basis prorated based on the amount you have subscribed. The excess return which is part of the promo is paid out in the form of a coupon after the 60 days are complete.

Your promo starts on your first subscription, once you fulfil the minimum $, the final period will be fixed.

You start 2 May, and fulfil 150k requirement, you get 60days from 2 May.

Once you lockin the promo, if you withdraw any money resulting in failure to meet 150k requirement, your promo terminates!

7 working days to receive the remaining interest
I just completed my 60 days for $200K in SGD Fullerton Fund on April 19th. Since the T&C states that it will take up to 7 business to receive the additional payout to cover total interest of 6.8%, I waited and after 8 business days (today 2nd May), I still cannot find the additional interest credited. I tried asking the chatbot and it's totally useless so I waited 10 min in the customer hotline, and was told to check my COUPON for cash credit.

This is totally unexpected! It makes me wonder what if the COUPON has an expiry date and I just waited like a kuku? In fact, I was supposed to receive $2,236 total interest but the final interest is about $1,202 (ACTUAL) + $1,000 (CASH COUPON) = $2,202 which is $34 short. I can't reconcile the difference but I will just let it be assuming the CASH COUPON don't default!

Word of warning is that.. Online-only trading platforms like Moomoo and Tiger are always trying to win over (i.e. use $$$ to buy) new customers. Enjoy taking their free monies but do know that:
(1) Calling them when issue arises is always a PAIN in the A$$ (useless chatbot and always busy hotline)
(2) Their trading app is designed to make you trade more (promo, coupon, points etc), not find info easily. E.g. navigating the app to deposit money to your trading account is easy but withdrawal page is tricky.
(3) These companies do things in unconventional ways (sometimes, even tricky ways). E.g. instead of direct interest credit, they issue me CASH COUPON. What if there's a COUPON expiry date?

There's another 6.8% guaranteed interest promotion now till July 2024.. Just open your eyes wide and read T&Cs, print screening everything you see.

Must know how to activate agent in the chat! Type Agent twice, then a live agent will talk to you!

Whatsapp cannot help you cos they are not authorised to look into your account - that's what they tell me and teach me how to use chat, type Agent twice!

(is the same type of problem when DBS first rollout their online chat, if you dun use the right keyword, agent will never talk to you! Now DBS changed their chat, I seldom need to use)

Ermm OK I will try in May cos my current promo ends in Apr. I will withdraw out all cash from Moomoo before registering new promo, then deposit back again and then register new promo. If it works, the countdown counter would show, the amount deposited eligible for promo interest. Risk is that only found out no promo interest received after deposit period, when amount could be deposited in other higher interest accounts.

I know previous promotions work this way ie. fresh funds counted by net amount deposited after registration.

But then Moomoo changed the rules recently ie. Fresh funds determined by net amount deposited after promo start date (regardless of when u register), preventing pple from withdrawing before registration and depositing back after registration (recycling of funds).
So... any update?

Don't anyhow quote if you don't know the situation. I am quite sure people who say transfer money lost on ibkr simply can't follow instructions exactly. My dad is one of them so I know, it's user problem.

Just completed the 60 days promo on 15 April and received the cash coupon. I also waited more than 7 working days to realised it is cash coupon in my account. Are we able to take part in the new promo again? I accidentally clicked subscribed again and now it shows me to deposit with my 200k still inside. That means it does not rollover another 60 days? Even I withdraw and deposit again still cannot right?

Anyway saw this SingTel promo got 6.88% for 1 year guaranteed return. Has anyone park there already?

No, you should withdraw 1st, then click subscribe and then deposit back.

Regarding the singtel insurance plan, too many conditions:

  1. To qualify for the 6.88% p.a. guaranteed maturity return for one year and any applicable cashback from Singtel Growth Assure (a single premium endowment plan), you’re required to purchase a combined minimum annual premium of SGD 10,000 in one or more eligible regular premium insurance plan(s). The amount you can purchase for Singtel Growth Assure is equivalent to the total annual premium you pay for the eligible regular premium insurance plan(s), rounded down to the nearest thousand. In the event that the Eligible Insurance Plans are subjected to the free-look period, cancelled or if the premium or insurance coverage is reduced prior to the maturity of Singtel Growth Assure, the guaranteed maturity return will revert to the lower yield of 3.04% p.a.
