HI...i'm thinking to stop the giro but what makes me worried is they might just bite us as we have shown up ourselves on last 2 week and immediate after then we stop our giro. i think if they really wanna sue, they'll just start from us.... that's make me refrain from stopping the giro so immediate.

initially i thought ok fine..since i'm in the deep ****....i'll just slowly pay off the instalment via $50/mth..but they are too much by just sending the letter to ask us to pay off the remaining whole sum by Nov'13. that y we so pissed off and went to their office for discussion.

After discuss wtih their membership service officer, he told us we can ignore the letter as they just generate out the letter wtihout looking at the previous document. As previously they did print out a letter to state that we can have extension on the instalment payment without incur interest charge.

But now out of sudden the officer emailed said he proposed to the mgt that we pay upfront $2k and remaining sum pay via 10months installment or pay full wihtin 7days for getting 3% discount. that's really too much!!

we paying our installment d and now they reqeust even more. that's why...now i'm lost as to if i stop the giro, i believe the first they goin to find ppl to sue sure us coz we so stupid to show up ourselves and deal with them...

really is................................speechless but full of anger...and i'm lost......

Well then, just ignore the email. Why should you be anger over a stupid proposal by some stupid officer who thinks he is a smart.

Totally agree... Seem to receive pm after posting, Asking to join in groups seeking redress via lawyer etc.. Sorry to say this but I have my doubts over the genuinity...

To all going to SCT to hear Jerry Tan's claim against you. Ask him to show you the contract he has with the "Hotel Partners". If he unable to produce, then you can counterclaim him for running a scam and request refund. Use the below document for reference. Some local hotels are very responsive and if you write to them to check regardig the membership you will get disclaimer from them saying they have no dealing. Use the discalmers as proof to support your case.

The hotels are merely some of the past bookings of members who have used their services. You bought a service and I suggest you use the service then complain. Deny that and we post your nric and all details here and see if you still can hide behind the web of anonymity....you got back your money but you are still spreading negativities and instigating other with wrong advice. All because our Renee stop communicating with you after the 5 days cooling off period means she is using you. Even if she did, it was you who got attracted by her and want to be used...throw out the grudges and you will sleep well. My HB and I was kanna forced into buying time share 13 years ago I think.....recently think in Aug 2013 we received a lawyer letter saying that they are acting on behalf of Emperors Resort International Pte Ltd (ERI) to claim against us to pay up the outstanding of my other 3k.....so far we actually think pay more than 10k for the whole thing.

We are being "held" in the office from 6pm till 1am in the morning without dinner or food. Yes, they keep forcing us to take up till wee hours. I remember I reach home near 2am and was scolded by my parents.

The very next day we regretted but then in yr 2000, there is no cooling period or can void the contrat made within 7 days.

We then turn to CASE but they can't help us. And for goodness sake, we can only make a complaint ONLY AFTER we join their membership.

However, end up CASE din do anything. Contract does not have cancellation clause for buyer. The company can cancel but we cannot cancel. Really sickening. We dunno head and tail as we just started working. So end up paying 3yrs membership to CASE but nothing is done. So kanna cheated AGAIN!!!! Really very bad luck.

Initially my package is dunno 28k or wad then after few years after we signed up we try to stop paying.....den was call down to their office and they try to persuade us to change package to a lower "in-house" development. Then our package changed to 18K if I remember correctly.

But after paying a few more installment, we find that we seriously don't want, so we stop paying.....and recently we got that lawyer letter.

Did anyone receive any lawyer letter issued on behalf of ERI?

Till now, Oct 2013, my HB had consulted other lawyers but still cannot cancel. wanted to burn the whole contract and forget about it.... I wonder what retribution they may get for coning ppl. especially younster and elderies.....haiz....

Your hb and u are adults? Did they come to your home or office to drag you there? While you were there, did they chained you to the chair? Did they not even allow you to go to the loo? Did they point 2 guns to your 2 heads to take out your nric and credit card? Did they also forced you both to sign on 3sets of the agreement and your credit card slip? The latest victim of Jerry Tan Kim Huat is the SCT. They have once again been fooled by this scum into working for him to extort more money from the victims. That is why I wish for Jury system in Singapore. We need someone with more ground knowledge and common sense and not just go by the book playing right into their sick setup. If Singapore law is only to be abused by SMART scum such as Jerry Tan to impose onto us POOR common folk then there is no justice. Home Affairs if you are really scanning the internet for grunts please kindly action on the complaints in this forum and get CAD to work. Please put a stop to him and his crime once and for all. Heaviest sentence on all counts with jail terms to run consecutively with no pardon. Hopes he get at least 20 years in jail.

ERI has been in business for 16 years now with more than 5,000 members but the 5 of you who are 'regulars' here in this forum spreading negativities behind the web of anonymity think their lawyers would act for them to sue the members who defaulted on their payments. u think gurdip and gill are stupid? rmb, go look in the mirror...f_t, u__y, bo__k

I agree with you. jasmine, a divorcee, look pretty, young n decent on the outside but she is a scheming monster inside. we call this kind of people ' wolf in Sheepskin'. she ask to pitch 3 to 5 star hotels but she said all 5 star hotels. she ask to pitch premium airlines, she said all will get SQ. she ask to pitch up to 30% discount, she said up to 90% discount. And we told her some hotels come with breakfast or shuttle services, she said all hotels come with breakfast and all got limousine service. recently, we discovered 2 cases of her collecting thousands of dollars from members, single guys drawn to her beauty, on behalf on the co and pocketing the cash money which we have informed this 2 victims to go make police report who are investigating.. we are sure more than 2 had paid her cash outside the office...see the problem is with you guys. you don't read the terms and conditions on the agreement and just signed blindly when she ask you to and you don't ask for a receipt or do the transaction in the office but blindly passed her the cash outside some starbuck believing everything she said.

Stop your nonsense and don't be so shameless lah.The problem is that you intentionally mislead people to believe that they will get a significant 50% discount in all bookings. The brochures you showed people are expensive 5 stars hotels but when people have paid the membership fees and start booking, the hotels given were not what was promised- people can book those hotels and airline themselves with the same price.

In other words, you are running an unscrupulous business even when you have exploit some loopholes in the agreements.

i recently went to Collis wong & assoc. they were very clear about their intentions with assisting me with terminating my contract from timesshare. i was visited by mr rai. he was indeed very clear and helped me through. i did visit the solicitors appointed by them, Mr joseph chen and within one week i received my notice of termination served by them from Emperor resorts. so far this is the only company which ive attended to and are doing something about it. just awaitng the other process to complete my procedures.
