Yes hubby and I save alot. And we r taking care of our health so that we could enjoy our wealthAs you age, you will have gradual muscle loss. The less you move, the harder it is to move as you age. Do take in more healthy proteins (like eggs) and calcium (milk), and do some regular muscle strength training. Can just carry some weights at home. No need to be strenuous, which may lead to injuries, but get that muscle stretched will do. My dad is 83 this year, still moves like 60+ with such lifestyle.
I am late 40s btw. I also started to lead a lifestyle like him. Earn and save how much for retirement also no use, when you don't even have the health for retirement. In my view, my dad leads the best retirement. Good health -> enjoy retirement.
My dad near to 80. Super active and healthy as no chronic diseases. My 101 late granny also very healthy n active. No chronic diseases but she was weak as heart weaken as aged and she had a great fall during morning walk
