Of course will not allow u to do trunking. It actually depending on your room location from the router. If your room is near the router, you can wire directly to the router and put the flat Cat 6 cable under the room door so no trunking needed. This is how my father connect to his com in the study room.
Measure the distance from your router to your laptop before you go down to get one.
The problem is the room not located behind the wall of the TP. My father's study room is just behind the TP so very easy.![]()
Something like this, it's about 15- 20meters if a straight from ONT to my room, unless you need to go against the wall which is another story,
In accordance with speedtest.net s'pore is second fastest internet speed and with this new launch may be can be fastest in the world. Ahh ...

Even my 200mbps fibre from M1 is better than that lousy cable premium plan.Just signed up for the Ultra plan at the roadshow yesterday, still wondering is it still better than my Starhub MaxOnline Premium plan which I have been using for a few years? And since their activation will only be in March?

Most modern pci-e based ethernet adapters can hit 1gbps comfortably. Can lah your international speed will not overshot 450 Mbps so you are quite safe. Your adapter more important I feel.
