Your reply is quite misleading as you are stating that there are only either Ultra 1Gbps or Gamer 1Gbps plans whereby there is actually still a 300Mbps plan.

To be exact, it will be $240 more for a 2 years contract and not just $10 more.

Well said. Not just that...it's difficult - VERY difficult - to hit practical speeds in excess of 300-odd mbps, even for local sites, and only when the server in question has MASSIVE amounts of bandwidth available, typically an amazon cdn server or Akamai cdn server. 1 gig's great for running local file servers in your home (NAS), and "speedtest excitement" though.

Only available for upgrade of existing user base on old 100mbps and 150mbps plans. (this is to let customers move on to a $39 range pricepoint for customer who dont want to move off that pricepoint).
