My 1Gbps is up :s12:

Everything seems OK except upload with my Note 3 'hang' on both 2.4 & 5GHz :s11: Any help?

Here is the speed on wired (Asus RT-AC68/late 2012 iMac):

Here is the speed on 5GHz, 2.5m, no wall:

Here is the torrent speed using Asus download manager:

Please share your speed test to Hong Kong, japan and china.

Is that fast for 1Gbps? Bittorrent is probably the only use case left that may actually saturate the link.

Well, testing on the Asus router USB DLM is not ideal in the first place, the bottleneck would be the USB connection...

I would say average or slightly below average since this speed is achievable on a 200Mbps plan from another RSP.

Note: This is not a fair comparison since we are talking about different computers, torrent file, number of seeders, different timing, etc.

For those with the 1Gbps up, we want to challenge the connection a bit.

Can you try some doing some "heavy duty" things using the 1Gbps? Speedtests are just tests after all. :s13::s13::s13:

E.g. play an online game while downloading large files in the background, torrenting >10 large files at the same time.

Let us know how it goes!

So far pings in most games are below 6ms, with steam managing to do background downloads at 20MB/s. Most downloads off the net finish quite fast. Opening multiple youtube tabs seems to have all fully loaded for most of the <10mins clips. 3 concurrent users of the net at moment (Mum's ipad streaming drama, Dad working on 2 laptops, me playing games and stuff, 1 mining rig), and no issues so far. Will be testing torrents over the next few days.

Appreciate that you want to make sure your links are okay, but at least give me some clarity on my case. I hate to keep chasing people for updates.

If we are on an existing 100mbps Pure Plan with contract ending in Oct/Nov, are we not able to upgrade to a Gamer 1GBPS? Is that not considered an upgrade of plans?

Hey guys, my Singnet contract just ended and I'm thinking of signing up to MyRepublic. I read some post here saying that the waiting time is very long, up to next year? Anyone has any idea approximately how long it will take them to set everything up if i sign up now?

And if anyone knows, is MyRepublic using transparent proxy like Singnet? or maybe planning on implementing them in the future?

Thanks

From what MR support staff told me they are using private proxy for dynamic ip. Hence got problems with access to china websites.

Which BTW why MR do not use public proxy for easier access to china websites?

Installation date before contract ends = upgrade

Installation date after contract ends = recontract
