Guys,
Just to let everyone know that I have been played out by Opennet & MyRepublic with regards to the 1gbps installation.
My installation date was scheduled for tomorrow (28Mar14). Apart from the original call a few weeks back arranging the appointment, I did not receive any email/call from MR confirming the appointment thereafter.
I had to proactively reach out to them by calling their hotline (nobody picked up), trying their online chatroom (no operator online), sending email to their MR support (given ticket number but never received any response). Only after dropping an email to Nivek1985 did he finally reply yesterday evening (26Mar14) confirming the appointment.
Thinking that the appointment was confirmed, I applied for leave to be around for the installation. Around 9plus this evening, I received an SMS informing that the Fibre takeover had been rescheduled to 31Mar14. It was like the family members receiving an SMS informing them that the Malaysian PM had declared MH370 crashed into the Indian Ocean. Really impersonal. Come on MR, where's the customer service?
Someone finally called me later but still couldn't even confirm the 31Mar14 installation date. Really frustrating and not sure how to proceed.
MR, you really need to get your act in order. To all those considering signing with MR or switching to the 1Gbps plan, I strongly suggest you think twice and hold off on your decision. This MR and Opennet issue is not going to be resolved anytime soon. The worst part is that, us, as end users, suffer the most.
