My high end pc dunno for what reason keep detecting my lan connection as 100mbps even though I'm very sure the cable is cat 6

Then my other low end iMac even though can detect 1gbps, when I do speed test the speed so fast that it hung my entire Mac machine. It always freezes at 250mbps++

Who more sway than me??

try disabling all the power save features for the NIC, which sometimes will slow it down to 100mbps

Define high end?
Did a Ethernet driver update?

I'm not sure what the cause but possible scenerio i can think of is that your wireless adapter is a 1T1R instead anything higher. so detect as 150mbps is correct

But then when I try to plugin USBN53, it detected 300mbps.
At the router's page, I set to 40mhz.

Hi, MR has replace my ont and help to configure the new asus ac68u ytd.
But i have this strange problem.

On wifi either 2.4ghz or 5ghz, my mobile games dun work on any of my mobile device. I have tried more than 1 game. Brave frontier, tower of saviour, clash of titan etc. All this games work on my 3g/4g network tho.

Youtube, facebook, whatsapp, web surfing whatsoever works on the wifi.

I am a little puzzled by this problem. It doesn't seems like its a router issues as almost everything works except mobile games. I have factory reset the router countless time trying different firmware and all these did not work

Would appreciate any assistance. I was previously on gamers plan. No such issues.

maybe your MTU needs to be lowered? since ADSL uses lower MTU settings

How much lower ? Everything is on default as installed by the technician besides updating my router to the latest firmware myself. I assume the default MTU is at 1500 and apparently there's no way to change MTU for AC68U unless I am on PPoE.

The speed can be limited if you are using USB connection for your network adapter.
