It's not cash billing, it will be billed along with your first bill.

I'm currently still on MR 150Mbps contract till 2015. Do I need to sign up online if I want to upgrade to the 1Gbps Ultra plan? I had called up the customer service hotline and was told that as I am an existing customer, I do not need to do anything at all and the plan will automatically be convert to the 1Gbps plan. Can someone here verify on this?

It seems that MR customer service and sales are quite disconnected as the information flow to the customers are always not in sync.

Recently signed up for the 1gbps plan, but can't help look to the future when the 2 years are up. Apparently the price should revert to $89.

I wonder what we'll be getting for $49.99 by then. But I guess that's the whole idea, get us so used to the 1gbps that we can't possibly think of downgrading again :)

Someone told me not to sign up because I getting my new place in june, if raise I really Sian

1Gbps Fiber

So I signed up for a re-contract for that approx. $50/mth plan for 1Gbps Fiber with MR.

The signup page mentioned that a staff would be getting back to me with regards to the installation date. After not getting a response from anyone from MR, I decided to leave a message on 28 Jan in the afternoon at 1549H.

The message was replied at 2 nights later at 2323H, and that support guy gave me the impression that he had no clue what I was talking about. So I provided him with my customer ID and information that I had re-contracted.

The next response from the same guy was on 4 Feb and my installation date is mid-April IF I signed up now. This time around, the reply was at 0101H.

Now, I totally understand that there are others grabbing this promotion and that your staff are working late to provide a response.

But a response that is not relevant...is he even bothering to read my reply at all?

People in this forum who signed up one day later are getting text messages informing them of installation dates.

And me? Nothing. Why? :s11:

What do you meant by cant downgrade?

If you completed your full contract and there is other plan you prefer, of cos you can choose what you like.

I read here that one person call up, the CSO told him that even after contract end can not downgrade to lower speed plan.

I signed up for the 49.99 1gbps plan as well, and after the 2 years is up, I don't think I'm willing to spend 89 a month on internet and will downgrade to whatever is being offered for 49.99.

Not unreasonable right? I'm sure they'll allow this.

Like I mention. After you completed your full contract. You have your right to continue with MR with any new plans or another ISP if you wish.

If you have any concern or question better clarify yourself rather than looking at different people opinions.

Cannot downgrade but you can terminate with a fee (disconnection fee as stated in their TnCs).
