Hi, thanks for your advice but I enabled everything for my asus n66u WAN-NAT passthru
and it still doesn't work.

My previous adsl hookup didn't have any issues though. If you could let me try to connect to your pptp VPN that'll be great. Thanks in advance..

P.S can't send you PM as your quota is full..

Drop me a note via Whatsapp etc...as I am quite busy with the ICANN meet this week. and thanks for highlighting my box is full...

Waited from mid Feb to late Feb, then last promised by nivleK1985 that MR will call on 10th March, until now, no calls? :eek:

My 1Gbps is up :s12:

Everything seems OK except upload with my Note 3 'hang' on both 2.4 & 5GHz :s11: Any help?

Here is the speed on wired (Asus RT-AC68/late 2012 iMac):

Here is the speed on 5GHz, 2.5m, no wall:

Here is the torrent speed using Asus download manager:

2905KBps = 2.9MBps? Is this considered fast?

That's given in bytes. The speed advertised by MR is in bits, theoretically a 1 gigabit/s link can transfer 125 megabytes/s of raw physical layer signal information.

Because of overheads and delays and what not, at the application layer (which you are only interested in) you will see quite a bit less of data transfer speed (perhaps up to ~80-90 megabytes/s if you are lucky).

Good question :) I am no expert but torrent download speed can be affected by many factors like client settings, #seeder & peers.

I am OK with it since under Starfart cable plan, the speed fluctuates more with occassional peak at only 1.5MB/s whereas now the peak speed with MR is observed to be more sustainable.

MR technician finally came today. Turns out there's a problem with my OpenNet TP (No Signal). I waited for 2 months+ already, dunno if I can wait much longer :/

Received the appointment email for upgrading to 1Gbps today. In the mail it state the installation of the Terminal Point (TP) by OpenNet and Optical Network Terminal (ONT).

I'm currently on MR Pure HD plan(with provided ONT) and TP already activated few years back, as such are the installation of the above 2 items still valid?
