My advice:
.) You need to wait for MR CSO to call you, depending on your address and backend readiness provisioning, this can take some time. I waited 4 months for the scheduled call. Once the appointment is scheduled, you can reconfirm via online chat. Don't email or call them..
.) So far, my plan has been very consistent since day 1. Even at night peak hours. But I haven't been with them for long, so I reserved my judgment.
.) I can't answer this question. So far, other than unanswered helpdesk ticket, the CSO serving my calls have been professional enough, and the onsite installation engineer has displayed good attitude.
,) No comments as I dun Netflix.
.) If it is Cat5e cable (which is already in market 10+ years back), then it is capable to run at 1Gbps at short distance. Unless your cable is near 90-100m long, then it will lose signal strength. Cat6 cable is capable of 1Gbps. You can also consider putting ONT --> AC68U, then use another AC68U to setup wireless bridge. But note that the current technology limits the bandwidth throughput at 1300Mbps/2 = 650Mbps. I got close to 600Mbps on my PC at the end of wireless bridge.
.) I not sure about $200+. Make up your decision before fixing that appointment. Once appointment is scheduled, OpenNet is involved, and it will become messy.
