Only ST and SH have "direct connections"; the others buy bandwidth from under-sea fibre cable consortia.

I got a quick question. Is it a good idea to do this? TP--->ONT---> Lan cable (cat5e/cat6) to my room ----> RG---> Lan to my ps3? As I have starhub broadband in the living room and TP is in my living room.

Any MR users using Hulu Plus via Apple TV? 2 nights ago, I was suddenly unable to access Hulu Plus via Apple TV, as it gave me a "Hulu Plus is currently unavailable. Try again later." error message.

The strange thing is that Hulu Plus works fine on my iPad and my PC, so wondering if the recent Apple TV software update is incompatible with Teleport?

I'm connected via Ethernet, so I've tried rebooting the AppleTV a few times, still no use

Is there a problem with Twitch.tv with MR? For these past months, had been lagging both hosting stream and viewing streams.
Will have lag spike every few seconds, which are not experienced by the others ISP/users. Getting a bit irritated with this.

hi, congrats on part 4 thread lol. I have 2 questions.

If I have served 15 months on the 2 year contract, mine had 5 month free, can i somehow recontract with cheaper price plan? cause after I calculate my monthly fee still come up to about 47 per month, and now MR already have price plans that are less than 40 a month.

Also I was telling my colleague why don't he sign up for myrepublic, but he cannot contact customer service hotline or online chat. He just want to know can he have the installation fee waived actually or if there is a roadshow coming up.

actually if you calculated it on average even if its waived its almost same price per month

Just wondering if MR had resolved the issues with Astraweb now? and what is the best usenet server to use with MR? I'm tried both Tweaknews.eu and Usenetserver.com - and I'm peaking at 3.5MBps.

Also - my FTP downloads from Feralhosting are <1MBps.

Hmm Not sure maybe congested traffic at videoweed? Its like how multiupload can get congested at times while other timings is fine
