Almost every night, when I'm the only user at home playing dota2 with my friends. I'm the only one lagging. Is my router having problem or MyRepublic is throttling my internet speed?

Using ASUS RT-N56U and gaming with wireless ASUS USB-N53.

Always have to do a hard reset before everything works fine again.

Anyone can PM me and help me out? Thanks!

Are you able to test with direct connection to ONT?

If your friends play wired while you're on wireless, bound to lag and unstable.

My republic needs port 1 on OMT ..

I am an existing Starhub user, myrepublic called up regarding my existing setup, and told me that they need to use port 1 on the OMT.

For my case, Starhub is using port2, my port1 was in use by M1 when I migrate to Starhub.

In case you still have existing contract, you may want to check your setup, and have your answer ready,

Alas - myrepublic still unable to set up installation appointment yet ..until next week ..

Last night was bad. Only 3-5MB/s.

The night before I could still hit 11MB/s.

I am using 100MBps Pure with static IP.

Weighing my options now as my contract nears expiry.

The sluggish net started since 22th. Supposedly fixed but comes back on and off to plague me at certain timing. So I guess I could be the early bird to feel something was wrong. lol
