Seems like it shouldn't be a problem from similar cases in the past and there's a recontract option on the website, but the recontract form isn't quite functional yet (no plans to choose from after logging in)

meaning to say buying a powerful router at this point of time is redundant? Since 802.11ac specification is still relatively new in the market and not all MB can support ac requirement...Hope some experts here can clear the doubt.

Support for 802.11ac is not dependant on your motherboard, but rather your wireless adapter. Some motherboard have a wireless card built in, but not for your case.

You can either get the 802.11ac adapter as an add on card (PCI) or as a USB stick (more convenient) which you can find at most major retailers, they will have the words 802.11ac featured prominently on the packaging.

This article sums up the wireless adapter quite nicely, just replace 802.11N with ac for your case.

Existing customers will have to change their ONT, I imagine, and to do this while maintaining service might mean activation of the second fibre which may result in the usual OpenNet 3-6 month delay. Thought, MR staff? I, for one, am keen to switch to 1G Gamer (currently 150 Gamer and a separate SH connection).

Our recons forms are still under development.


We would need time to shift customer from the old system to the new system. This shift for our existing customer will begin on March. Our first batch of customer's contract will be up next month in time for the shifting in March. After which, we would shift customer batch by batch as it's impossible to instantly translation everyone on to the new system.

My contract will end in may (im on gamrr).. can I upgrade it soon? If im able to. What should I do now.

Not sure yet, let's wait for them to finalize their recontract details for existing customers
