If you are saying about the cable they provided to connect via ONT to router, i just realise its a 5e.
Anyway, i have my own cat6 cable which i bought last month.
are they suppose to provide cat 6 cable?

Normally I just do some basic troubleshooting on my end first.

If possible, you can try to perform a reset or switch off on your router for around 10s to check if the issue still persists.

Thanks. I reset Router and the speed is normal as before. need to inform MR no need to do the maintenance on Saturday le..

Very curious, never change a thing of router, why did that happen..
btw, i am using AC68U

Right now, direct connection to ONT seems normal, getting 821mbps.
But right now, direct connection to router is quite bizzare.
Can anyone help configure it right.

Restored to factory default
Restarted ONT and Router manually.
Still the same result

Still the same result

Bring your AC56U down to Avertek and ask them to verify it.

Welcome, great that it works.
You just continue to monitor to ensure that same issue does not occur again.

Sometimes one need to "restart" the device to accept new changes.

But jonathan1991 is getting less than 400Mbps even with direct connection from ONT.

that's what I'm facing too.
using AC68U... used to be 900++ with the router.

now suddenly, with no change of settings or whatsoever, it's 350 downstream
