MyRepublic support is not 24x7?? Anyone know how to contact MyRepublic? My SingTel became no service at midnight today. Now the MyRepublic SIM is with MyRupublic network but is totally unusable. Cannot call and cannot SMS at all. Before it is ported over yesterday, I could still use the temporary number to call and SMS.

You have to power off and on to activate the network signal.
Else how it swap the number.

I have changed my SIM card to MyRepublic SIM in my phone and power on my phone. There is no issue with network signal. Network signal is full bar but unable to call and SMS at all. Just like those prepaid SIM card without any credit left.

MyRepublic is a total disappointment

Maybe wait a couple of hours and restart the phone.

As MyRepublic is using Starhub which i had no issue (with Starhub) before when porting and even porting to replace mobile number.

Have been waiting since 12am today and restarted the phone multiple times. Only data is usable. No call and SMS.

It should be MyRepublic issue, not StarHub.

That is too long... as at most is within 4 hours usually.

You may have to contact them from 9am > Port-in Status

Maybe take a check on your phone settings to see if it is on divert or not.
Last time i encountered this was the CS asked me to verify on my phone status on whether divert is on or not.
But it was using the wrong SIM card.... hahaha.

Manage to contact them after 9am. They escalated the issues to their IT department.

How to terminate MyRepublic line? If the lines is terminated within one month, will they charge the full first month subscription or prorated?

It is all stated on their FAQ page. Don't tell me you signed up without even bothering to read those.
As stated, it is not a line. You can cancel at any time. All that will incur is a $20+ charge for the cancellation.

I've used up 2 out of 5 of the codes for both my parents who uses them to make whatsapp calls and messages that prepaid cards are lacking. Also, the overseas roaming data charge is extremely cheap depending on the places that you plan to go. Like $6 for 1GB of data that can be used in Thailand for 1 month. Perfect since you can use whatsapp to call just about anyone be it relatives in that country or friends back home without having to pay additional roaming charges when using normal calls and SMSes when overseas.

So far, even with my second month, I am still just paying $16 for both of the $8 UNO plans. So MyRepublic definitely keeps to their word. No secret bill increases as can be seen with M1.
Each bill totals up to less than 2 months of my Singtel plan bill.

It is an extremely worth it deal if you ask me.

for info, the codes can be used multiple times all over again.. so use them while the offer is still on till 9 Jul..
