Wah...MR 4g speed damn jialat.. i don't expect much since it is using M1 network. 10+,20+ mbps i happy enough. But less than 0.1mbps?
I just did a speed test.. download speed is... 0.09mbps.
what kind of joke is this?
Think i need to port out again...

sounds like "eight" plan speed

I ported from Eight to MR...Eight is much better than this..at least still got 20+ mbps, which is quite decent especially this is a back up phone...
The reason I ported out is, after the Eight outage 2 weeks ago, I decided to convert one phone to another telco..

i would use 1 x ST network if you want to keep Eight, MR 4g is under M1 ?

yes... MR 4g is under M1...
I looked at ST mvno too..while the network is good, the deals are not so... since is a back up phone which I just wanted to keep the line alive, I go for the cheapest plan... MR one is $6 nia..

MR services starts to decline this year. It was the best in 2023.

For ST, you might have to look at Zym or VIVIFI

Just went Malaysia yesterday again. I even purchased a roaming plan on top of my free roaming to see if it helps in any way. Still no roaming and data when I reached there. Contacted technical support directly through the previous ticket email and no reply for almost 24hrs already even though they mentioned they will get back to me previously so i dont have to go through the in-app support when i encounter the same issue. Very disappointed with MyRepublic.

So totally no roaming at all? How did you email out them, through WIFI/hotspot?
Did they respond to you eventually?

Just in case, any need to activate roaming on the MR app? For me on ST MVNOs. There’s a need to activate on app and phone before heading in to use data roaming.
