Other than tunnel, it's 99% covered.
For phvl driver shouldn't be an issue, it's more likely affect commuter taking mrt.

TPG is just not yet 99% covered in Singapore. MyRepublic on the other hand is covered islandwide and underground.

That is right, because for drivers, running under MCE or CTE might be just a few mins issue, but for those taking mrt, it might be a more than 30min issue.

Today is the second last day for the MyRepublic promo plans, $10 and $29 plans.

For an MVNO that depends on marketing strategy to survive, MR made several strategic missteps in matter of days. The first is changing SH to M1 network but not forthcoming on what will happen to old customers under SH. The second is launching a "limited time" promo plans right in the middle of Covid-19 lockdown. Seriously which other telco does that? The third and worst is disallowing old customers to switch to new plans claiming is only for new sign ups, conveniently reneging the promise that customers can "Change Plan Freely".

Just switch to other telco like Circle Life Grid Giga freely.

There should be legal and technical considerations for this restriction to change plans from SH to M1 network.

At worse they don’t launch the new plans, at the end you still don’t get the new plan and still move to other telco.

For PHV, once the driver reached its destination and if its a basement car park, there is no way to inform the passenger its arrival unless the passenger is on the dot type

This one in condo basement, none of your telco want to place a reciever there.

Tpg wont work neither do the 3 main telco.

If you are a professional driver, at the secuity guard you will at least click i am here and give the customer a message "Hi I Am here, waiting for you at the basement pickup point"

It take 2 hand to clap 😁

It's a regulation to have telco reception in all basement carpark after the accident in one of the condo whereby a driver fell. The family members unable to call for ambulance.

I got the email, same as you. 🙏 this is probably the migration liao, it says data service affected, pls restart phone if no data

got their email as well.. under the old uno $8 plan..

not sure if the disruption of service is to port pioneer customer out from sh to m1, some argues that sh network is better and vice versa.

just felt that even if they do, they should at least let potential affected customer know of the situation

but seems this is the only way for existing uno users to upgrade to lite plan (for those who wish to do so - as they shared there’s something coming up for existing uno users)

They can tell existing users if they are moving us from SH to M1, but sometimes too technical, not everyone cares about using SH or M1 network. The general public only know oh its MyRepublic, if tell them, they will say huh? Since when I'm on starhub and why move to M1.

I saw the SIM Card delivery dates, earliest is 23 Apr.
Wondering if I can choose 30 Apr delivery and activate on 1 May, so that billing cycle is on 1 May?

I assume this $10 Lite Plan Promo ends on 30 April according to their legal TnCs? Why are there people saying it's ending on 14 April?

https://myrepublic.net/sg/legal/mobile/promotions/lite-pro-plan-promo/

Anyways, I plan to switch my parents' M1 line to MR. I always like M1 and hated SH, so I guess it about time for me to jump and save $$$.

you're same with me, going to port my parent line to MR using M1. They don't like Starhub.

Just saw it, the T&Cs says till 30 April, but advertised as till 14 Apr. Hmm, maybe they will extend come tmr or on the 15th.
