Not sure why this MR makes my hp hot easily.
TPG and redone doesn't have this problem.
The bars are also not full maybe that's why need work harder to capture the signal izzit?

MR(m1) should be way better than TPG in coverage.
MR(m1) should be the same as redone(Starhub)

You can consider Zero1 plan instead, 1GB to unlimited daily. 1mbps throttled data

Oh? I see. It is indeed 1Mbps in real life experience, if yes it will be good, it can be used to replace my TPG trial in less than one month time.

Not anymore for the new sim. It's around 0.5mbps to 1mbps.

Last time indeed 1mbps throughout.

Does anyone know if the person needs to be physically present (w/ IC checked) to receive the SIM? Am currently studying overseas and would like to port over since this is cheaper to hold onto my number...

Most will be ok as long as your family member at home have a copy of your NRIC present physically. Must be actual NRIC not photocopy.

oh, last time Zero1 1mbps, now drop to 0.5mbps? Like that, almost like MyRepublic.

Anyway, MyRepublic app you can add-on additional data if you can't tahan the throttled speeds. The one-time booster will cost $4 per GB

My TPG trial plan is also ending end of the month, i'm thinking to port it to MyRepublic

Value Plan $18 and Power Plan $24 is back.

It means the lite plan $10 and pro plan is ending.

If it is $1 per GB more people will be very willing to take up. Others like giga are offering this.

Yesterday finally used up the 6GB and to throttled speed. Speed is about 400kbps up and down each. Can watch YouTube up to 360p. Good enough for me.

$10 plan

TPG 50Gb $10 - No coverage in MRT tunnel.
MR lite 6GB $10 - Using M1
GIGA 5GB $10 - Using starhub

1gb for $1 is only applied for more than $10 plans, likely $18 plan and above

I see. But $4/GB is a way too expensive to consider. If I am using this plan, I will just stick to the 6GB and continue to use the unlimited data at throttled speed after that.

As long as the speed is enough to surf web, I am ok actually.

One good thing about the lite plan is that it has more talktime than the $24 value plan which makes it more usable as a main line.

One advantage that Giga has over MR Lite is rollover data, can roll up to 5GB(unused previous mth) + 5GB(new month). Some months I start with 10GB because I used so little in the previous 2 months.

giga also has $10 for 5GB plan. also $1 for extra 1GB.

$4/GB, very few will take up. I am thinking $1/GB will have many more take ups. Nowadays data is so cheap, nobody will pay $4 for 1GB. If MR is reading this, you should seriously consider this to increase revenues. Since you are already paying for the bandwidth, might as well make some money instead of letting it go to waste.

but if one use more data might as well get higher plan.. like Giga pop up $18 seem good.

MR lite still best....MR throttled speed still not so bad compare to others.

yeah, the 300mins is more than enough for average users, same for the amount of SMS. Their nearest g competitor also does not offer this much.

Yeah. Time for me to port my number into MR life plan also.
Again this month exceeded the free talktime.
