I feel staying on Starhub network for MR user is much more stable and better speed
I'm considering the $17/mth 50GB. How is the reception islandwide?
is VoLTE important ma?
Was think Giga or MR, since both offer similar price range plan.
hi. would need some help here regrding this rubbish upgrading or porting.
My UNO plan is undergoing this porting over to new network. based on the email, it says i am require to go to this App with new Sim icon? i cannot find this in playstore.
I tried with the existing myrepublic app but there is no option for me to select like what was described in the email.
I tried going to phone setting to do a new network search also cannot get a network.
Now my phone cannot be used. anyone experience this?
any advise?

Dear valued customer,
Thank you for your longstanding support as a subscriber to our Uno mobile plan.
As part of our continuous efforts to improve and ensure we bring you the best service, your Uno plan will be upgraded to the new MyRepublic 8, with its current monthly high-speed data allowance increasing to 2GB.
This plan upgrade will take effect when your next billing cycle starts and will be permanent moving forward. No other features of your plan (like its price or talktime or other add-ons) will be affected.
Important steps you'll need to do for the upgrade
As part of this plan upgrade we’ll need to migrate you to our new network, a process that involves number porting (i.e. bringing your number over) and updating your SIM card settings.
We will need your help when it's time to update your SIM card settings.
This process starts with you receiving a confirmation SMS for the mobile line(s) that will be upgraded and ported over.
There will be a point where your number has been ported over to the new network and your current SIM card settings will stop working, resulting in no connectivity. When this happens, it's time to update your SIM card network profile. To do so, follow these steps:
For Android:
Find and open the "MyRepublic" application with a SIM Icon
In the application, select “Choose Services”
Select “MyRepublic SG”
After selecting the above, you should be brought back to the main menu
If your network is still not available after 15 seconds, please restart your phone
You should be able to access the network now and your service should resume
For iOS:
Go to your “Settings" & select “Mobile Data”
Select “SIM Applications”
Choose “MyRepublic SG”
Once it's successful, you should see a "no SIM Card Installed" prompt
Restart your phone
You should be able to access the network now.
Your mobile service will resume after you’ve completed the steps and the upgraded plan will now take effect in your next billing cycle.
We thank you once again for your support and apologise for any inconvenience resulting from this upgrade.

Just ported 3 lines to MR. The speed is the usual M1 speed. Which is fine for me. Most important has VoLTE.
But the website still show blanks on Personal Information and Account Settings.
Probably can check the throttled speed if it is 1 Mbps the whole month?
Porting my last UNO plan to Vivifi Lite. MR reception quite challenging, when u need the data connection, it gets stuck.
If the infrastructure is under Starfug then I'll stay on.
All the best guys.
MyRepublic Lite (6GB $10 plan)? 384kbps iirc.
